Whose Going All in On San Antonio - 175 Series Price?

They've won like 20 games in a row, they owned OKC twice in the regular season last 2 times they faced each other, they have homecourt advantage and way more playoff experience (which is huge in the NBA playoffs). Huge value here

    ALL IN!

That series price looks off to me....from a match-up stand point, and with Spurs homecourt adv, they should be no less than -200 here.

Don't agree. Home court is a factor but not a major one. I see the series as too close to call. I wouldnt touch anything over -135. The value on the dog is almost compelling no matter who you feel will win. OKC wins one of two in SA that series price will drop to near pick.

Look at NBA history in terms of matchups with superior teams with much more playoff experience and homecourt advantage, look what their record is

Pure NBA Upsets like this are rare (independent of injuries and other factors). The Thunder last year couldn't get past Dallas and the 2012 Spurs are way better than the 2011 Mavericks. The Spurs are really better in OKC in every way - better defense, better interior depth/scoring, better 3 point shooting and the huge one in terms of more experience

The only way OKC wins this is if Durant and Westbrook go for 70-80 every game, but even then I can see SA winning games like 118-110

listen to john on this, you dolt.

okc is just too fast and athletic. spurs have been relying on rookies and 2nd year player who have yet to face adversity. they will fold like cheap suits when pressured in this series.

    okc in 6.

San Antonio dominated OKC both of the last 2 matchups they faced them. Where was OKC's athleticism then?

San Antonio's superior playoff experience, interior presence, 3 point shooting, depth >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> OKC's 3 player team

    Fixed

OKC can definitely win this series... young, athletic, and confident. Obviously the Spurs have been on a tear, but they've also played some very weak competition.

    Value definitely on OKC

San Antonio's recently destroyed Lakers twice, OKC twice, just swept the same Clippers team that beat OKC twice in the regular season and have basically rampaged through the league

If you think OKC, a clearly inferior team with less playoff experience, playing without homecourt advantage has a good chance to beat San Antonio, you simply don't understand NBA playoffs. It's the most predictable form of betting in the world

    reg season meetings mean squat.

lakers went 2-1 vs mavs last season and still got swept.

a very rare true NBA upset

Look at the last 13 years of the NBA and tell me how many times a team with worse regular season record, worse head to head matchups and much less playoff experience (which is the most important thing) has won. It doesn't happen too often

just look at last year with Dallas and Miami winning in the conference finals against teams with much less playoff experience

too late I thought it would be -150, when I looked this morning it was -165, then 5 minutes later it was -170, now seems to be -175 so someone sure likes them.

    Using your regular season logic-
All 3 games the Thunder played against the Spurs this year were on the 2nd night of b2bs, and they went 1-2
Last time they played was 2+ months ago... so much for "recently destroyed"
Parker went off for 42 in 1 of those games... think that'll happen again?

There's obviously a reason the Spurs are favored, but its far from an easy series for the Spurs

I think people will be shocked by how easily San Antonio wins this series. OKC needs a big man that can score a little inside. They're gonna find it tough to consistently score in the half court against SA and their defense is not good enough to shut down SA. You live and die with the jumpshot and OKC cannot win this series unless they just go crazy and start making a huge percentage of their jumpshots

I expect SA it in 5/6 games and to win most of these games like 110-100 - very similar to what Dallas did last year except maybe a little more convincing

Then why did you wait until they were -175.

You could have gotten them at basically EV to win the West any time during the Clippers series which they were never going to lose.
