I have done my homework on this total and its basically a strong trends bet. Since 1995 in the NBA Finals Game #1 there has never been more than 200+ points scored during the game (4 quarters). Now there was one instance where it did break 200 but that was in 2001 when the 76ers defeated the Lakers scoring 20 points in overtime. i have added a future bet on the lakers winning the series which is yet another solid investment (risking 5 units to win 1). phil jackson is 43-0 after winning game 1 in the playoffs. after a 25 point ass whipping last night it is obvious that the lakers can not be stopped. i booked this with my locals at (-470), 5dimes (-480), wagerweb (-500), and thegreek (-490). alot of people do not like the risk reward factor here but for me and the amount of money i am up its nothing.
