Spurs don't respect CP3 outside shot, or Blake's for that matter, and CP3 will continue to struggle unless he can prove he can hit some of those outside shots and force the Spurs to come out on him. The Spurs have dared him to shoot that jumper, but CP3 has been reluctant even with clean looks. If he could hit some of those shots it would open some of those passing lanes and paths to the basket. Bledsoe does have that range and has looked good, it keeps the Spurs defense honest and has opened up those lanes for the Clips second unit.
Even if they could do that, the Clips defense is still suspect, slow on rotations and their bigs just look downright confused at times. The Spurs just have too much, every guy on the roster can score, so even if a couple guys are cold there's always another guy to pick up the slack.
