Celtics -5
the Hawks are a better team than Philly.. they have much better shotmakers
about all Philly has is speed, at times they rly look confused. I believe they
are poorly coached and ill-prepared for what they are about to walk into
tonight, Doc will have an answer for all contingencies, he can go small if
need be, it's going to come down to Boston's shooting % on ISO shots,
Pietrus and Bass are due for hot offensive production. Pierce will get his
calls and Rondo will pentrate at will.. KG is running at 110%, look for him
to commandeer the home team to a comfortable win tonight. I would say
to those who may not have been focusing on KG to take a good look at
his play because KG is in top form now. Surprise factors include Ryan
Hollins and Avery Bradley. The C's will be conscious of not letting this one
get too close near the finish. Once again, don't believe that Philly will be
tougher than the Hawks, they won't be. Philly doesn't know how to manage.
Philly doesn't know how to put together 48 minutes of consistent team
basketball.
Philly doesn't have the shotmakers Atlanta does. Spencer Hawes will
get absolutely nowhere against KG, Bass/Pierce will guard Iguodala/Brand into
long jumpers, Rondo and Bradley will give Jrue Holiday dizzy spells.
Nuggets +225
The curtains are drawing in on this Laker Age.
Gasol wouldn't mind an early start on golf, he is trade bait, so is Artest and so
is Bynum. They don't have the chessboard zen master Jackson coaching them,
and they don't have any team chemistry. Did I mention they don't have a bench ?
Now I did. Sure, Kobe will get his, but he can be outscored. He's only one player. Thuggets have momentum, better coaching, better legs, and better
outside shooting. They are also a lot hungrier to get deep in the playoffs.
They know how to beat this Laker team. "team" for only one more night.
Gallinari, Lawson and Brewer can launch bombs as Bynum and Artest will only
be able to stand and watch fall in the basket. I don't think this game will be about
defense, the talk is it will be about defense, because Artest is playing, baloney
to that, it's going to be about offense and Denver can generate more of it
than LA. This Laker team is missing important pieces and will be exposed.
i have a feeling quite a few of you are taking this bet also
but just don't want to post it - cuz the karma is silent
and jinxes are deadly. $ on the Q-T.
