    I Can Understand Why Amare Let Loose

    Granted, he made a huge mistake but we don't know what he's thinking. His brother died in a car accident. That can be very traumatic.

    Let's also remember, when the Knicks signed Stoudemire, he was a superstar in his first year with NY and everyone was chanting MVP. Melo is a great offensive player but is a negative regarding his teammates performances.

    People are too quick to bash him. Death hits hard and maybe his dignity as a man is getting to him as another player (Anthony) just takes over. People have moments where they want to go crazy. Better the extinguisher than another person like Metta jackazz

    come to think of it, ever since his brother died, he has an angry look on his face everytime he accomplishes something (scoring a basket). Maybe the guy is hurting inside...he wasn't a trouble maker---this is his free pass for me as a Knicks fan

    the way the knicks were playing when stoudamire was out they should have had him coming off the bench with the 2nd team give them 2 scoring options with him and jr smith when he came back the knicks were winning and playing good ball while he was out

    to his difficulties with melo on the floor:
    do not forget that amare played like an mvp for the knicks before melo was acquired. he was a true leader. I would prefer a solid playing amare any time over a solid playing melo..

    Amare more well like than melo

    melo is a bad guy

    gets dantoni fired then pretends like everything was ok between the two

    major character issues with melo

    funniest thing is when lin blew up and melo was out knicks leaked a story that melo suggested the idea to dantoni to give lin a shot with playing time
