Lal-5? Looks like a trap to me!

I'm a Laker fan since I was a child, but I don't think this is a good bet. With public backing LA (74%?), and Denver will play better tonight. Lakers will not lose this game but I can see them winning at around 4 points! But I'm not sure. Any thoughts?

Yeah I'm torn between not wanting to fall into a trap and not letting who the public is backing influence my decision. Best case scenario is Denver makes all the correct adjustments, their shots fall, and they keep it close. I think base case is that Lakers cruise into another 4-10 point victory.

I just can't possibly see there being value in Denver +5. Maybe there isn't much value in LAL -5, but it doesn't mean go with Denver. I think in Denver is the only spot you can back Denver with any real justification. If the line got to +6.5 then maybe we start talking. I think I just convinced myself to play LAL -5.
