    Ren's Playoff Plays

1st Pick: San Antonio Spurs -10.5

They're the best team in the league! In fact, they can win this one without their stars. So how much more with their stars, healthy and hungry (because of last year's 1st round exit) and at HOME. Utah's relatively a young team and also plays well. But Spurs is a veteran team, and they're well-rested. Utah will fight tomorrow but take the Spurs, here.

and for those thinking that last year might happen again, it won't. This is a different Spurs compared last year. Well-rested, Ginobili being healthy, and Parker having an "MVP season." And the fact that, Spurs has a great depth, great bench and of course, a great coach, they'll cruise in this series.

    2nd pick: Atlanta -1.5

Both clubs are playing at a high level lately. But Atlanta is a good home team and Boston has a tendency to be garbage at road. They're not in their perfect form while Atlanta is at its best (or should I say close to its perfect form). Some of you might think that Boston can steal this one, but with Ray Allen doubtful tomorrow, they won't. In fact, even if he'll play, Johnson and company will try to get this first 2 home games to get a chance of advancing in the 2nd round. All of there three games this season are close ones and I can't see this one any different. With this line close to being a PK, take the Atlanta here!

You have me convinced with SAS. Another note to add is even if they rest starters near the end, the spurs are a tough team to backdoor cover against as their bench scores pretty easily too.

I'm not sold on Atlanta though. Boston's confidence and experience scares me.

Also, my thoughts for LAL-4.5, and Mem-4.5

    Lakers -4.5

They're at home! One of the best teams at home and one of the best crowds in NBA. With Denver trying out a new type of play, and Lakers looking for a good start after it was swept by Dallas last season, the advantage will be on LAL. Plus the fact that their bigs are one of the best tandems (Bynum and Gasol), they will dominate the paint. Kobe, hungry for another title. And Sessions, will have a good matchup against Ty Lawson. So look for LAL to make a statement on this one.

    Mem-5.5

LAC having issues at road, Memphis being one of the hottest teams just before the playoffs. They'll win this one, but is the line too high? I don't think so. This will be a close game but Memphis will close this game out with a run. And public backing Clips makes this one more interesting

    Sry but i disagree.
Celtics will win this game. Allen is playing and their lineup is just too strong. Id say reg season maybe hawks but not playoffs.

Lakers cant play together an kobe will not mesh right away. GS is a fast past high scoring team and although bynum and gasol are big, they are too slow to keep up with GS in transition. Esp getting points.

Spurs is the only one i agree with but w -11 its a 50/50 who will cover so idk

    BOL anyway

Normally I'd take the points against the Lakers, but it's the playoffs. I think they'll cover. And these are just my thoughts for tomorrow. Just wrote it and gave my leans cause it might help some of you decide where to place your bets. BOL!

    3 playoff games tomorrow!

    1st pick: OKC-6.5

After just winning the first game by just 1 point (Thanks to Durant's game-winner), I'm looking for OKC to push this game out of reach. Dallas again has so many issues at road and after that heartbreaking loss, they'll be more motivated but I think Durant, Westbrook and Co. will end game 2, with a bang! After also seeing the public backing the Dallas because of game 1, this pick will be more interesting!

    2nd pick: NYK+9.5

I just don't see NYK giving up many points after a blowout. Iman Shumpert's loss will really affect them but he's not much of a factor in Game 1, plus more minutes for their bench players who are shooters. Bad game for Melo, and Stoudemire so look for them to bounce back in this game. Also, Chandler had a bad game so, I'm really backing them up to at least cover this points. Big 3 will give their best in this game, but I really don't see NYK giving up this many points. And again, with the public, backing Miami here, this will really be an interesting pick.

    3rd pick: Indiana-9

After a bad game, they will bounce back here. Orlando will be more motivated to take this one so they'll have a 2-0 lead going back to Orlando, but Indiana didn't play well last time! This line is a bit surprising because, it ain't right. But Orlando is a very very inconsistent team, and they're on the road. Game 1 won't happen again and Indiana will take this one by double digits.

    2nd pick: under 200.5 Den-Lal

This line is too high. 1, because it's playoffs: teams have improved their defense! Denver will have difficulty getting inside the paint with Bynum defending there. So, they'll take outside shots that have lower fg percentage. And even though denver is a fast-paced team, I think Lakers will force them to play at a slower pace. Denver's a young team and have some fresh legs so in order for Lakers to win this game, they shouldn't give what Denver wants

7-5 on playoffs! Bad day yesterday! Now, 11-3-2 on my player o/u picks

    For tomorrow,

    1st pick: Ind-3

They are the better team! And after Orlando having the home court advantage now, they will really try to take this game from Orlando and lead 2-1! Orlando's the most inconsistent team in the nba (well, at least for me). I'm optimistic that there will be lots of adjustments in this game for both teams but Indiana will roll over!

    2nd pick: Mem-6.5

Public backing LA (60%). Memphis is the better team, here! Look for them to bounce back after a heartbreaking loss game 1. They should've won that game! This game is like Orlando-Indiana game 2, after Orlando, taking game 1. They killed Orlando the next game.

    3rd pick: Utah+11.5

Zigzag theory. This will hit because this is still game 2 so far. Utah will lose, that's for sure but by only single digits (9?). Sas will play this game hard because they want to finish this series asap cause they must have rest before advancing to the 2nd round. After losing by 15, Utah will play really better. And Sas with next game on the road, they will most probably limit minutes of their stars (actually went under Duncan 16.5 tomorrow).

    Picks for today

    Boston-8

Rondo will come back tomorrow and probably with Allen, Josh Smith's probably out. That makes Atlanta screwed here. I think Boston will cover the points here, a bit high, but I think they will especially at their homecourt.

    over 14 Afflalo

Bad games in LA scoring below 14 in both games 1 and 2. But they're at home tomorrow. So look for him to bounce back.

    over 13.5 Rondo

He didn't play last game against Atlanta. Played and scored 20 points in game 1. If Allen will play tonight, I think Rondo will be more of a passer but I think he'll still play well and get the over.

under 29.5 Kobe. He's really playing great but Lakers are on the road. I think he'll score a lot tomorrow but less than 30pts.

Also with over 11.5 Iguodala, didn't play well in their last 2 games in Chicago. But I think, he'll play well tomorrow. What bothers me is his injury. Less minutes for him maybe. We'll see!

Hopefully, I can bring you winners. BOL!
