    Seed success winning percentage?

Does anybody know where I can find seed success winning percentage?

Example: The Knicks play the Heat. How often has a #7 seed upset a #2 seed? or What's the probability of a #7 seed upsetting a #2 seed

honestly i think its happened like 5 times in nba history since mid 80s when 16 teams got in. most of them series were best of 5

8 beating the 1 seed or 7 seed beating the 2 seed rarely happens

saw this thread earlier and as i was doing research came up with this from the site i use all the time.. www.teamrankings.com

Since the 2003-2004 season, there have been 80 games where the 1 seed played against the 8 seed. In those games:
    • The 1 seed has a straight up record of 60-20-0 (The 8 seed is 20-60-0 straight up)
    • The 1 seed has a record against the spread of 41-36-3 (The 8 seed is 36-41-3 ATS)
    • The game went over the total 45 times, under 35 times, and pushed 0 times

didnt stumble across series records as a whole, prob what u were looking for but heres a little insight. good luck sir.
