Im usually not the type of person who will see an injury on team A and then take team B, but I really want to pound PHX right now.

Lakers have zero perimeter play. They better hope Bynum doesn't glance at the PHX bench tonight, because he is all they have.

Interesting that the books feel that Kobe only means about 2 points to the Lakers.

They are moving the line equal to the money coming in. The market sets the lines, not the books. A move from -1 to +2.5 is pretty significant.

This kind of stuff happens all the time. Team A loses a big player, and then covers. I remember when Heat played Chicago last month and Rose was announced out last minute and everyone jumped on MIA. Bulls covered easy.

That's it though. Bulls cover a lot as it is. We are talking about the Lake show. They can't cover with Kobe. Going to be even harder without him.

Typically when big names get scratched right before tip off, it means stay away or go with the team who had the scratched player.

I remember earlier this year BOS was without literally half their team. I think Allen, Rondo, Pietrust, etc. were all out, and they ended up beating Orlando by 30.
