Locking in Memphis +8 tonight might not be a bad idea.

I have a feeling this line will drop a little bit so getting it at +8 right now might be a good idea.

We have owned the Grizz this year but they let a second half lead get away in OKC earlier in the season. They're a really good team and we are coming off a week in which we blew out the Heat, Lakers, and Bulls. I don't see us beating the Grizzlies by double digits as well.

Even if we win, I doubt we cover and I won't be surprised at all if Memphis wins this game just to send us a message that they are still a threat. Good luck.

I'm on this too. Great situational spot for OKC to let down, only problem is OKC doesn't seem to let down often. Still 8 points seems generous.

Also have 2 tough road games on the horizon: Miami and Indiana. So far looks like 61% on OKC

I have a feeling this line is slightly inflated in Griz favor

The books have to be pissed about OKC always covering big for the public

I have a very strong lean on the Grizz for Monday. However, I disagree about the line move. I see this one going up to 8.5 and then dropping back down to closer of 8 or 7.5 with late steam. I'm going to wait till tomorrow morning and see if it goes up to 8.5. I think today's performance against the Bulls is going to spur some OKC action. GL

Serge and Perk aren't even ready for ZBo and Gasol. There aren't many teams that can match up with OKC, but the Grizz definitely can. Gay has the length to guard Durant, and Allen can guard either Westbrook or Harden. And Grizz can match any team in the NBA on the inside.

Anyone taking a shot with the ML?

I've taken Memphis every time this year against OKC. Grizz probably should have won the last meeting straight up but choked in the fourth.

I think Memphis is the play at +8.

tony allen is their defensive go to man. Gay is actually pretty good himself on D. That said hope its a good game overall even though i won't bet watching it

    What's wrong with that?

They made it to the conference finals last year playing "Real Hard".

    Maybe they're just a really
good team and that's why they cover so much.

Our three best players are 23 and Ibaka is 21. They have the energy to bring it every night.

Nice call on the Nets BTW.

I think its great OKC is trying so hard in these reg season games...I know everyone's theory is 'no1 cares about reg season wins/losses'. Thats true but what mindset would you rather have at this point in the year, when playoffs are right around the corner.

OKC - Just blew out two of the best teams in the league by DD.
Miami - Gotten blown out by 3 teams within a matter of days.

Thunder players' confidence is through the roof at this point (which kinda worries me about Mem+8) and you can be sure they are fully convinced at this point that they are winning it all this year.

I'm pretty sure Jordan and the Bulls cared about the regular season when they won 70 games. It didn't seem to hurt them in the playoffs.

Also, 22 out of the last 30 NBA champions have been #1 seeds.

I can't believe the knock against the Thunder is that they play too hard and win too much. That's just funny to me.

So my team's downfall is the effort they bring every night? Lol. I think that's awesome.

For me the whole reason for backing Memphis was they were at full strength with Gay and Randolph back, but w out Conley it's another big piece missing and a smaller piece w Dante Cunningham questionable as well. If those two play its a dif story...Reason: If Memphis plays them partially injured it denotes the importance of this game for the Griz, especially w OKC looking to let down ats in this spot. I hope they play

This is/will be one of the best rivalry's in the current/coming decade...

If OKC wins by more than 8 they will really have had to hit their shots because these teams are very evenly matched....

Thunder are going to roll over Memphis just like they did against the Bulls and Heat. Last 2 times Grizz/Thunder played Thunder covered. Let the STORM BEGIN!!!!!!

OKC always looks like shit unless it's a big game against teams like the Bulls, Lakers and such. It's like they don't even give a fukk.

How do you explain that they have the 2nd best record in the league then. They have looked unstoppable for most of this year and always give effort in their games, rarely get blown out unlike Miami and recently us who often have lapses against bad teams

They seem to get into a lot of close games at home. They usually do pull it out in the end. For instance they lost at home to both Cleveland and Houston a couple weeks ago. Every time I take them, it seems to come down to the last couple minutes. Don't get me wrong, they are one hell of a team and are gonna be tough in the playoffs where every game matters.

Pretty dumb comment considering they are 1 game behind Chicago for the best record in the entire league.

So they play like shit yet they are are 40-13??? LOL. OK.

I'm not surprised they lost tonight. That's the whole reason I made this thread yesterday.

Yeah I couldn't understand it. I think the loss to the cavs sticks out to most people just because they stink but the next thing people will be saying is we don't give a fuk about the small teams (because of today) despite 42wins and our record shows that we have pounded the weaker teams all year.
BigD, what's your early thoughts on the big game in Miami on Wednesday? I am feeling another fade for the thunder as Miami will not want to be swept and are a different team on homecourt
