BULLS and HEAT looking very vulnerable lately

even if derrick rose ever comes back (who sits out 10 games with a sore groin?) those who had the bulls and heat as automatics in the eastern conference finals might think about using a pencil next time.

not that anyone else in the east is playing any better, but these 2 teams are far from unbeatable in the east

Heat and Bulls could care less about the reg. season. If CHI cared, Rose would be out there. If they weren't winning games and holding down first place in the East, Rose would be playing. They are just resting him for the playoffs. MIA could care less about the reg. season. Everyone knows that they'll be judged based off winning a title, not some regular season game a month before the playoffs start.

Thibs is just chilling on rose and hamilton. lol @ the announcers in the celtics/heat game saying "Rose's injury must be VERY serious"

Boston or maybe Knicks can steal this East Title

Heat will not be in the finals

This whole DRose injury thing is ridiculous. Everytime they show him he looks pain free. No limp, no grimacing, no nothing. If DRose had a broken leg and it were the playoffs he would probably be playing.

They are resting Rose... he's fine. They want him 110% for the Heat.

It came out of nowhere too. I don't remember him ever getting taken out of the game before he started sitting

its the regular season, both high seeds are just coasting right now. they know their playoff spot is going to be, and they know its going to be heat vs bulls in the e. c. finals. its just a matter of time.

The only reason for the sitting of players it because of the way this season is set up.
If there was no lockout and it was a regular season Derrick Rose + friends would be playing every game.

There were reports after the injury that Rose's groin was actually bleeding. The only thing "ridiculous" in this thread is people making half-baked assumptions based on how the dude looks sitting on the bench.

But yeah, you're right, the Bulls are vulnerable any time their starting back court is injured, and the rest of the team shoots 33%.

He hasn't even started running yet, he's nowhere near close to returning. I'ma say it'll be 3 more weeks before he's back, thats a conservative estimate.

Mavericks were 4-4 in their last 8 last year.

No problem with you being an icon here but I worry that some posters actually think you know sports.

Okc looks like the cream of the crop. Celtics rolled Miami today but celtics can't compete in a series anymore. I'd still lean bulls over Miami in the east. Heat are still too much of a head case in crunch time

amazing that people in this thread still think it's set in stone that miami and chicago meet in the eastern finals

either one of these teams can easily lose a playoff series

maybe it's just because they met there as the #1 and #2 seed last year?
don't forget, the western finals last year was the #3 and #4 seed

    2010 the ecf was #4 vs #2, west was #1 vs #3

so both of the last 2 years you had one of each #1 through #4 seed making the conference finals. just as easy for a 3 or 4 to get there

Mike... the Magic/Celtics don't scare anyone and don't even try to say the Pacers/Hawks/Sixers can beat them.

don't get me wrong pickwinner i have the heat to win it all

but people are talking like there's a 90% chance heat/bulls meet in the ecf when it's more like 50%

say the bulls and heat are each 85% (-570) favs in each round, that's still (.85 x .85 x .85 x .85) or 52% chance that they each win the first 2 playoff rounds

Bulls can pretty much coast into the 1 seed... but Rose being out might allow Thunder to pass them for the OVERALL 1 seed. At this point, Bulls are concerned with getting healthy.

None of the other 6 playoff teams scare me at all or the ones just outside. I really can't see anything else than a rematch of last years ECF. There are far more teams in the west capable of knocking off an elite team such as memphis

The Pacers wore the Bulls down which might have led to their meltdown against Miami last year, I hope the Bulls can avoid a round 2 match up with the Pacers. They'll win, but it'd undoubtedly go 6 and have the Bulls bruised and battered.

I agree that pacers could be a tough one but we should win 4 2 at least

not me. I will gladly have the Bulls steam roll the pussy ass pacers. they outrebounded those bums by like 25 or 30 last time. as a Bulls fan the only team i fear is miami and that will be a war. LOL at pacers...come on now bro

Are you serious? Heat will take that crown... How can you not see it? They played bad vs Bost ok i get it. However out of 7games Heat are deff the play man.

people are so swayed by recency. 2 weeks ago everyone was saying how the thunder had already peaked for the season. The Bulls took their first real beating without rose, big deal. They will be ready for the playoffs. The heat have been scary bad lately but we've seen how they can turn it on in 4th quarters when they need to.

The heat and bulls will be ready come post-season. As good as the celtics looked today, the heat sure helped them look that good. Barring injuries, no one in the east will beat the bulls or heat in a 7 game series.

Wade is an above average guard now

    Not a dominant guard

Rondo is miles better than him

Have you been saying stuff like that during your 120k posts? ^^
You are insane to even think like that man.
Also people who thinks there is going to be anything else than bulls/heat in the ECF you are crazy. Every team has bad stretches. Miami is currently in their worst stretch of the season. They are going to be ready for the postseason for sure!

If you think Wade can do what Rondo does I do not think you watch or know much about the nba

Lebron has a busted finger also and it shows
