remember he got injured in some game early and Portland got destroyed the rest of that game?

so.... Clippers 1st q or 1st half ehhhh? give Portland a half to get things together w/out him b4 they come out in the 2h when the Clips like to cruise anyways...especially when they are up at half.

What would you liked the line to have done after Aldridge was announced out to feel better about your Clips play?

The line not to move at all. I'd have felt better about my play.

Ah. I would have thought the opposite b/c if the line didn't budge, books would be inviting Clipper action after the announcement.

Well they know that the public doesn't give a fukk at this point. They'll buy the Clips at even -12 or 13 because 'omg aldridge is out, Clips roll'. It's one of the unwritten rules of betting. The star player gets injured, and the next game, everyone takes the other side, but that team ends up winning SU. Then threads pop up about how this doesn't make sense, and 'how can this be?' and will start calling fixes.

That being said though, I'm glad I could at least beat the closing line. Hopefully that will come into play. I'm just EXTREMELY on edge, from having lost my NHL play by a score in OT due to a turnover, and lost my detroit bet by 0.5 in the last seconds of play after covering for 90% of the game.

yeah was a pretty sick loss. JJ Hickson misses both crucial free throws, they allow Clippers to get a 3 to take the lead, they dont double Chris Paul on the layup that won the game. so sick

Definitely not what I would call a sick loss. Blazers were down took the lead then Paul took it back. Crawford hits a shot at the buzzer- he is good at this, better than the average NBA scorer.

Then the Blazers allow penetration and a quick 2. Nothing about this is uncommon in the NBA... making it far from sick for either team to win that game.
