C'mo dude, open your eyes!! Bynum lost the game for them tonight. He shot 12-14 in a 4 point loss. If he makes those two shots that he missed the game is instead tied & Kobe takes over in OT & wins it (as usual) for the Lakers. Fukk Bynum, lost another one for the Lakers!!!

clearly kobe wants this scoring title for no reason. Even if he's off he's gonna shoot more than usual. I think he'll gun less in the playoffs. However, they are a lottery team and not making the playoffs based on someone in this forum...

Phil Jackson was the best asset Lakers had Kobe just happened to be lucky enough to have him come back and coach his sorry ass a few more years and won 2 more rings for him. Shaq might only have 4 but one of them was without phil jackson coaching him so that makes that one better than Kobes two.

There is a theme to how well the lakers did, coaching. Sure they had great players but their coaches was what made them stand out. Of all the rings they have 3 coaches won the huge bulk of them.

Kobe was and still is very over rtaed, but he took a lot of shots and had enough fall at the right time to fool people. he has also always had a few 7 footers under neath cleaning up his shit. The couple years he didnt he was a joke. Not a coincidence people.

Basically. "LeBron has never had a game like this!

...Yeah but Lebron had to keep shooting. Yeah but the Celtics were good that year. Yeah but it was on the road."

Yeah but what's more important? Game 7 in the playoffs or an irrelevant game in the regular season?

I do not think anyone is saying Kobe is a bad player, b/c he def is not. Not even close. He just has those games were he is struggling, and never defers. When Kobe scored those 81 points the team was trash, and he was justified in the amount of shots he took that year. Although now, his team has options, and they should not be ignored. Kobe, and the lack of a bench was the problem last night.

Now Kobe will go on a run of 30 point games...

Kobe is easily one of the best of all time. I can't stand ppl writing shit after one game. What about the fact he leads the league in points?! and when the King wins his first and second rings all the morons that said he sux will say he is the best ever.

Its ok to expect Kobe for more than most players, but he is allowed to have bad games. Jordan had them. Messi has them. Everyone does. With him its rare.

credibility from a guy who makes vick the brick jacobs look normal. In case you dont know who that is he wears mink furs and hasnt gotten a hair cut since Kobe bryant became a laker and wont cut it until he retires. that might be the 'sanest' part of his infatuation with the guy.

Lakers will win 35 games now which will be enough for them to go into the play offs around a 5 seed and get smoked by a team theyll be a 2-1 favorite or higher against. So you laker homers can stop worrying about them making the lay offs, but they certainly arent even in the same universe as a legitimate threat to win anything.

    so true

only reason he scores is because he's the most selfish player in the league and has more shot attempts this season than anyone else in the nba.. as he did last season, etc etc

of course, he will have the NBA record for most missed shots in a career very soon, YEARS sooner than he will ever get close to the scoring title

that tells you all you need to know

Lakers were dead as soon as Bynum was ejected. Anyone who still thinks Kobe is the most important player on the Lakers is mentally insane.

So now the Lakers will win 35 games instead of 24 as previously predicted?? And they will now be a 5 seed instead of a lottery team as also previously predicted??
If they are a 5 seed they would be playing the 4 seed. Why would the 5 seed be a 2-1 or higher favorite over a lower seed

kobe is a ball hog and even when he has bad games, he'll keep on putting it up there. but to his defense, you can't just keep on feeding the big men and keep it one dimensional. there isn't another scorer on that team. the lakers miss lamar and lamar misses the lakers. lamar is a dumb **** but we all knew that after he married that beast...

another note, ramon sessions >>>>>>>> steve blake. steve blake is a back up, not a starter.

I actually said as is without injuries they would have at most 34 wins. I wasnt sure if that would have been enough to make the play offs in the west. But it probably will be. I said 24 wins if kobe was really hurt with that wrist thing he was crying about. he wasnt so that was a moot point. They improved slightly but still dont see them winning more than 35 games even where they are now with 28. So yeah I think it will be hard for them to win more than 7 games from here on out. April is brutal for them. This month from here on out isnt a cake walk either. Especially if these guys are wearing down which it looks like they might.

As for them being a 2-1 fav, its the Lakers, theyre favored on the road still when they havent shown the least bit of ability to actually beat a decent team away from LA. If the lakers were faviored over OKC if they by some miracle got to face them in the play offs it wouldnt surprise me one bit. People are brain dead when it comes to the lakers, thats why their ATS record is total dog shit, because the lines are bad to begin with and people bet them and make them worse.

But since you want to talk about embarrassments, youre an embarrassment to reading comprehension. But if you went to school in the US after the 90s that isnt a surprise I guess. Most kids these days are nearly illiterate anyway.

He's 9000 behind Kareem and he's only 33 years old. If he averages 25 ppg for the next 3 years he will score over 6000 points leaving him with just a little over 3000 to go. He will be 36 years old at that time. I think if he's healthy he could do it as he would only have to average 20 ppg for 2 more years to reach Kareem.

How can anyone say that Kobe is a bad player? He is also playing with quite a bit of injuries with the wrist and fingers and he is also getting to be in his mid 30s. And yet he is still putting up some pretty good numbers. Of course he has some off days since he is only human (and the short season). So, you can not say he is a bad player. I am not a Kobe or Laker fan, but I have a lot of respect for what the man can do and oh the guy is not even a top 10 draft pick.
