Lakers - 6 Looks Like The Best Play Tomorrow

Just evaluating how the Lakers play at home and how Celts play on the road (in terms of their offensive and defensive efficiency), this line should be around - 10

Only concern is the celts getting up for a rivalry game, but that seems unlikely. That team is just atrocious on the road

I could see BOS getting up for this game. LAL is horrible against good PG's. Rondo could go for a triple double.

Haven't really looked into the game much, but I'd lean Celts +6.

Celts have been really awful in road games against quality opponents

I think they're something like 3-8 ATS in road games against teams over .500

First off, BOS will find a way to get up for this game. They are the Celtics. It's a big national TV game. Not too mention I'm sure Pierce, Rondo, Allen, Garnett, etc. still remember that game 7 loss in the finals a few years ago.

This is also the first of a long west coast road trip. I'm sure they'll want to start the road trip off on a good note. Not to mention LAL are returning after a long east coast roadtrip. Teams don't usually do well in their frist game back home after a long road trip.

I see some value in Celts + the points.

Good luck on whatever you decide to play tomorrow.

I think you're giving them too much credit for the name on their jerseys. The celtics are a shadow of what they used to be

Hawley I usually respect your opinions, but I invite you to look at Boston's results when playing on the road this year against respectable opponents. Hell, just their last 3 road games against Dallas, OKC and Philly were 15+ point blowouts

They're a shadow of what they used to be. Lakers dominate tomorrow IMO

Its a revenge game for Boston, and its the only relevant rivalry in the NBA . Brahma is a ML parlay aka make the "sure bet" type of guy. Bet accordingly

lakers lost to detroit and washington in the same week, the line should be Celtics +3

The lakers are the biggest jerkyll and hyde team in the league when it comes to road vs home games. They play like world champions at home and like scrubs on the road

disregard the philly result, that was a b2b? and we know how bad they are b2b

They are rested here and will get up for the game IMO. lakers stole the last one on the Celtics home court. Game should be low scoring so I would take 6 points if I had to play a side.

Dont know if I will touch it though

it's not really a relevant rivalry anymore. Bulls Heat is a rivalry, Dallas - OKC is a rivalry, Clippers - Lakers is a rivalry

The Celtics are just not good enough for people to care about this matchup

If Boston wasn't such a scrub rebounding team, I'd hammer them spread and ML. Only thing that keeps me away is Lakers might have 20 offensive rebounds tomorrow.

I see this game being a slugfest that could go either way. 6 seems a little high even w/ Boston being a terrible road team

exactly this, Lakers should dominate both defensively and rebounding tomorrow

only way it remains close is if Lakers just shoot terribly and make it like an 82-81 game. I personally expect like a 91-77 game

So was the loss to Dallas and the loss to Chicago before that. I think this one will be a close one as well and not sure -6 is worth it. Saying this line should be -10 is just plain silly, its overpriced at -6 mainly because of LAs stellar play at home. I have it at -4.

The game is nationally televised so Rondo is a lock for a triple double

Homefield advantage is worth about 3 or 4 points generally speaking

You're telling me that these 2 teams are of equal ability? Come on now, Lakers are still a legitimate threat in the west. Celtics are a first round exit

I think Lakers dominate too. Both teams are much better home teams than away teams. Nearly all of Boston's wins were at home. Its the only home game LA are getting in nearly two weeks and they haven't performed well on the road so far so they'll be looking to do well this time. If most people are on Boston ML/PS, I'm taking the Lakers for sure.

Celtics +6 is easier money than that Portland-5.5 i hit earlier. The same game brahmabull doubted was even a good play. Same situation for Celtics here just as the Portland game. Revenge factor and how LAL are going to be fatigued after that road trip. Celtics+6/Over 179. Any one else like the over? 179 is to low IMO. I feel like Allen is gonna break out with the 3ball and you know Kobe, we all do.
