no hate for lebron here, but he won't make top 30 while kobe is top 5.

    pretty simple.

still waiting to hear a single reason why lebron should be ranked higher than 30.

Funny how lebrons career is already too tarnished at age 27 lol. At age 27 Jordan had 0 championships (was his career also tarnished.at this point?) yet at age 27 lebrons career is alreadyaccounted for and over. You guys are too funny... You act like he's 35. Now, did I really just read that lebron is a selfish player but kobe is not? After reading that in post #1, this thread officially illegitimate nonsense and doesn't deserve to be addressed. Mods please shut it down. Thank you

Another reading comprehension fail. My comment was "if they wanted him to be KOBE and put up 40 shots per game, then he would do that" - paraphrased based on memory - general meaning of the quote remains intact.

Now, if you can't read - I apologize, literacy isn't for everyone.

I didnt avoid them... all other posts can be addressed by this:

"Funny how lebrons career is already too tarnished at age 27 lol. At age 27 Jordan had 0 championships (was his career also tarnished.at this point?) yet at age 27 lebrons career is alreadyaccounted for and over. You guys are too funny..."

There is no point in this thread... Its like comparing Jordan to Magic when Magic had 5 rings and Jordan had 0 at age 27. You obviously couldnt compare them.

When their careers are over, then fine... but right now kobe is at the end of his career and lebron is in his prime with a whole career still ahead of him.

Obviously as of right now kobe would go down better then Lebron. But it is unfair to even talk about it at this point.

It shouldnt. Kobe won and played well. Lebron showed that he was by far the best player in the game. There should be no threads either way concerning the two.

Kobe showed he was by far the best player on the court and it wasn't even close. Dominated wade on both sides of the ball.

Lebron was 4-13 with Metta on him.

dlunc you really gotta stop using age as a measuring stick bro...lebron's career is 50% longer than jordan at age 27

do you realize jordan had three rings by the time he'd spent as many years as lebron's already spent in the league if you count this year?

i'm not disrespecing lebrons game at all...hes the most talented player in history...but your age argument is retarded

Don't forget the 3 steals. Miss read your line.

I guess just scoring the most points in a game makes you the better player.

Dlunc telling people they don't know basketball. How ironic. In the haslem thread he tried to convince everyone the 3 point line is 10 feet away from the rim.

Well, Metta dominated LBJ, had 4 steals, and scored 17 and 7 boards. If were going to go off total game we should say him.

Well that maybe true, but Lebron did shut down your beloved Derrick Rose in the ECF last year.

How is that stat line better then a near triple double? With some steals and blocks sprinkled in.

Amazing how you guys just try to discredit Lebron at any chance you get.

I actually have disliked Lebron since the cavs/bulls series in the first round when he was running around taunting the whole time. But last year didn't help the cause haha. Rose has something for him this time around

who said he's done? the only argument you have is what he's done...not what he will do because you don't know

    jordan after 8 years - 2 championships
    lebron after 8 years - 0 championships

    that's a fact

and who the fuk knows why youd even compare the two...it's completely asinine

Because Metta held the best player in the league to 4-13. Lebron did his work when Metta was off the floor or when they switched.

Anyway, Kobe clearly had the best offensive/defensive performance, holding wade to 14 while picking apart Miami, I mean come on. Lebron only defended pau for a quarter.

There second best player is a top 5 player in the league. There would be a drop off but it wouldn't be big, they would be behind the bulls and OKC.

That is depending on where Lebron was and the Spurs would probably be ahead of a Lebronless Heat.

now trying to compare lebron to jordan? quite the leap there. jordan was far past the point lebron was at the same age. you have no credibility and are embarrassing yourself here.

jordan and kobe safely in top 5. lebron not in top 30. simple.

if they didnt have lebron, they wouldnt even have the 2nd best record in the east
wade has missed 10 games and bosh has missed 2
they would not beat the bulls in the playoffs w/o lebron
teams like the sixers, celtics, pacers, even the knicks would have a real chance to beat them as well
