What team will Rajon Rondo be traded to?

No idea, would like to see what he could do with Kobe, Pau, and Bynum though.

Lakers have needed an upgrade at PG for 6 years now.

Yes, I slapped myself in the forehead after I posted it. They would have to give up Gasol, the Lakers don't want to give up anyone for Rondo.

You really think Rasheed Wallace is the missing piece that solves the Lakers problems?

Lakers could beat OKC right now, imo. Like Chuck says, OKC not built for the playoffs. When defenses lokk down, okc doesn't get enough easy baskets, theyre mainly a jump shooting team. Playoff basketball > Regular season

no but gasol is not as good as he was. and rondo replacing fisher would be a huge upgrade. they would miss gasol but wallace could give them 12 pts and 9 rebs a night, i heard hes in the best shape of his life

    None, according to this:

    http://espn.go.com/boston/nba/story/...boston-celtics

Unless Celtics brass is blowing some serious smoke or trying to keep things smooth in the locker room till something is brokered for real

My guess is Boston will want draft picks, so it wouldn't surprise me if he got dealt to a crap team who needs a more veteran player.

I hate the idea of losing Rondo and Ainge will likely make some shit moves. Houston has some decent chips to send back with Brooks, Scola, Buddinger, Martin, Hill if they are willing to eat Jermaine's contract to get Rondo.

I can not see the Lakers letting him get away. I think a Rondo deal is the only way they have a shot at a title this season. Should be interesting to see how it plays out, and to see who the Lakers would actually trade.

Not really, if you read the latest article straight from the sources. Being in Boston I've heard so many rumors this season I won't believe anything until I actually see him playing in a different uniform.

Celtics want to get younger and convert most of the big 3 to the bench as second unit. There is no way he goes to LA, one history, two they don't have any young players to make the deal work unless you're talking bynum and no way in hell does that happen. Unless LA gives up gasol and a couple good firsts, or gets a 3rd team involved, I don't see it.

Doubt he gets traded to LA, but they would obv have to give up Pau for him.

Brooks is with the Suns once he gets done with his contract in China. However, Houston does have plenty of good trade chips, but I think they really like what they have in Lowry.

I can see him either going to Dallas or Orlando. Dallas though for sure wants to sign Deron Williams next year to a long term deal.

i heard he might be in a package deal that would send Paul Pierce and Rondo to the Bobcats for DJ Augustien and Bismack Biyambo in an effort for the Celtics to get younger.

I believe that the celtics, lakers, and magic do a three team deal:

    Lakers: Rondo, Howard, Hedo
Celtics: Pau, Steve Blake, Lakers 2 1st round picks
Magic: Bynum, Matt Barnes, Garnett, Allen, Lakers 2nd round pick

This makes all three team still relevant this year and better in the future. WHO SAYS NO?

Ehh, giving up Rondo, Allen and Garnet for Pau and Steve Blake and some 2 scrub ass late round picks makes the Celtics relevant? In the future? Is this the future Steve Blake unleashes his inner Derrick Rose, cause i'm pretty sure.....THE CELTICS SAY NO, for more like Hell no.

Pau>Rondo; 2 1st round picks>Garnett and Allens last half of the year contracts and steve blake can replace rondo. A team with 3 first round picks can rebuild pretty quickly with Pau and Pierce for a few more years.

CB is right about OKC to some degree. There is no chance that LAL has the athleticism to keep up though. OKC is LEGIT on the road this year. LAL is garbage on the road.

Danny Ainge would be dumb enough to do this deal. No way in hell does any person with a brain do this if you are Boston.
