Massey ratings vs the point spread (Boston and the Philadelphia games)

I like to compare the Massey ratings vs. the point spread as a starting point in handicapping. Usually, the lines and ratings are very close but in a few games tonight, they are way different. Here are some interesting games:

Boston (-3.5) @ Cleveland ... Massey ratings have Cleveland favored by 3
Philadelphia (-3.5) @ Detroit ... MR have Phil favored by 8

Are there injuries that are affecting the lines?

I wouldn't put a whole lot of stock into these projections, just use them as a reference. Here's another site: http://www.dunkelindex.com/NBA_Basketball_Schedule.asp

Boston is underrated because it started the season very poorly, and the early games are factored into the formula.

Philly is overrated because the formula treats the early games (when Hawes was playing) the same as the later games.
