Would you play the Heat's big 3 in crunch time together if you were the East coach?

I would choose Bosh over Anthony because Anthony isn't 100% yet. I would go with Bosh over Deng or Iguodala because I think he's a better player. Then you're left with Bosh v. Peirce and I'd choose Bosh because of the great chemistry between him and James/Wade who I would think definitely be in in crunch time anyway.

    What would you do?

Crunch time? In the NBA all-star game? No such thing.

Didn't Doc Rivers do that when the All star game got close that a couple years back? If you wanna win then yeah get them in there and just have them run your Miami sets.

    Rose
    Wade
    Pierce
    Melo
    Bosh

Melo or wade has to get the shot.

But obviously it's just the all star game. Good topic for the Olympics though.

    forgot about Lebron.

Put him over pierce. That's a pretty good closing lineup, let Lebron or rose run the point and get it to wade or melo.

What's the crunch time lineup in the Olympics going to look like?

    Paul or rose?
    Kobe or wade?
    Lebron
    Durant
    Howard

Would even have to consider Melo because his clutch stats are better than anyone the last 6 years or so.

    Will be interesting

Crunch time does not exist in an all star game.

The players get more serious if the game's close at the end, it always happens:

Crunch time is the most appropriate term, I guess "winning time" might be more appropriate, same difference in my opinion.

The point is that everyone knows that if the game's close at the end the game slows down, there's some actual coaching, the best/hottest players are played, and there's some actual defense played. That's as close to crunch time as you'll get but the term is close is enough imho.
