    Question about Juwan Howard?

Why is he even in this league anymore?
Never comes off the bench, he's older than dirt, and hasn't been significant since Nirvana was turning out hits.
Come to think about it, was Howard ever significant in the NBA?

I don't think he even sniffed a championship ring in two decades of pro ball.

The only time he was any good was when he was teaming w/C-Web as a Bullet - They may have won 1 playoff series........but no, he has not even come close to sniffying a title

B/c unlike guys like Iverson/Marbury, and others he has character. Bibby, Grant Hill, Fisher, etc... are all beyond their years of usefulness on the court. Nevertheless guys like them are needed in locker rooms for younger guys transitioning into pro lifestyle, as they offer veteran leadership/guidance to them.

Nash: for a smart guy, you're missing the boat on this one. 1. Howard gets paid 2. He appears to be on his way to earning a championship with the Heat 3. He's played sparingly but has made a contribution or two at times.

Why not keep playing. His career ppg goes down but that's it. You think Ray Jackson and Jimmy King of the Fab 5 would like to be in Howard's position. Jackson is driving a truck for a living.

He's more of a player coach. Great roll to be in, from what I understand very knowledgeable and motivating. Look for him to be some type of assistant coach within the next 3-4 years
