Kobe lost his mind at the presser and started swearing and dropping bombs. Guy is really that clueless I guess. Especially since he thinks Lakers have a 'foundation at a championship run' left in them with he, Gasol, and Bynum. Um in case he didnt realize it he is going to be getting a pay raise the next couple years and the salary cap is getting smaller, and the luxury tax is getting higher.

Gasol is basically the only real tradeable commodity they have. I guess he hasnt looked around at the bunch of shit he has around him.

Kobe should take a look at how Jordan is doing on the management side of the business and just keep his trap shut. Especially since he absolutley refised to take a pay cut to help ease the burden on the team and help them get better players.

Or maybe it is all finally sinking in, after being ilfe and death in about 25% of their games to beat sub 500 teams at home, and then getting completely blown out and embarrassed yesterday by one of the bottom 8 teams in the whole league it might finally be sinking in.

I imagine not getting any of these foreign guys to want to come there also made it apparent that the lakers arent an 'it' team anymore. He also may have heard after Arenas made big news working ot for them privately he might want to go somewhere else. Or maybe he isnt nearly good enough either, or probably both.

So maybe it finally sunk in that this team even with its current record is a lot closer to the lottery than it is at sniffing even the second round of the lay offs let alone another championship. He probably took a look at the schedule too and saw how rough it is going to be coming up.

But dont worry Kobe March will be a banner month for you guys even as is, you should be over 500 there. Just dont take a look at April though it would really make you sad.

They have absolutely zero trade pieces other than Gasol, which happens to be 1/3 of the whole team. trade him away then what? Even if they get a very very good point guard out of it they will then have Artest and Barnes as their starting forwards with no one coming of the bench.

I am enjoying it. Kobe is supposedly back with his wife and he has that untouchable attitude back and he will basically blow this team up with his nonsense going forward. The more the losses start piling up and reality starts setting in Kobe will then see just where he is at. If they do make the lottery (still think they will) that gives them a decent first rounder and whatever Dallas first round pick is, which wont be very good at this point. So if they have a failed draft with two first round picks then it will really hit the fan. Or I suppose they could try and trade them for a free agent, but at this point lakers should really think about rebuilding and just waiting for Kobe to leave and unsaddle themselves with his ridiculous salary. But then again having him contaminate the locker room for a couple more years and worse, contaminating young guys with his shit wont be a good thing for the lakers either.

In the end had Lakers traded Kobe bryant or had him in that deal for Chris Paul no doubt it gets done, and lakers are MUCH better off with that threesome...Gasol, Paul, and Bynum, with a draft pick and more than likely Odem still with them as well. Kobe is kobe and Lakers fans are blind, but any one of them that doesnt recognize that as a much better team simply doesnt have a lcue.

I like it, Paul not coming to Lakers was nice, but having him go to Clippers was like a fantasy league play. Goinf forward it only gts better. If Clippers somehow get Dwight Howard to come there after he becomes unrestricted them look the hell out.

What I clearly said was of the teams in the West, the 2 teams that would match up the best in a finals series vs Miami would be Portland and OKC. Those are the 2 teams that would worry me most in a Finals series. I know you take great offense to the fact that the LA Fakers are not one of them. And of course, with the length of their frontcourt, and if they get good consistent shooting in the playoffs from Wesley and Crawford, as Dallas had last year with fantastic outside shooting, Portland can certainly do damage in the playoffs out west if healthy

I'm more of a player fan, then team. I like Lebron and that is where he landed. I was hoping he went to the Bulls, because I was a Jordan fan as a kid.

you fail at math. I had Atl +200 ML that game I had Pho +14- ML last nioight, still profit at 1-1. I even playeed ON the lakers -7 at home against Phonix as that was a good line considering how bad phoenix is. So I will take them if the line is right generally it isnt. So I am 2-1 last 2 games and +1.4 units on them. Add that to the 15 or so I have made fading them up to this point and theyre one of my favorite teams.

Then add that to the +165 I am going to get tonight on the Lakers and I will be up 3 units in the past 4 games. Even if I dont win tonight 2-2 is still profitable. But I am confident Portland will win.
