Favorite "under the radar" NBA players?

I was thinking about this last night watching Gerald Wallace and Jamal Crawford for Portland -- there are a lot of NBA players who do their jobs very well but aren't necessarily "known" or appreciated the way they should be. Who's on your list?

    I'd also contribute:

    Tony Allen
    Marcin Gortat
    Ryan Anderson
    Tyson Chandler
    Andrea Bagnani
    Kyle Lowry
Kyrie Irving (just because he isn't a bona fide star yet)

LaMarcus Aldridge is the best player that no casual NBA fan knows about.

also Jeremy Lin. Asian kid on the Knicks

    Who?

    Never heard of him.

Aldridge is without question the unassuming "star" of the NBA.

I disagree with Bargnani & Irving. No #1 overall pick is under the radar.

    Greg Monroe
    Paul George
    Marcus Thornton
    Jared Dudley
    Nikola Pekovic

You forgot to turn on your sarcasm detector this morning.

OJ Mayo has severely underachieved for where he was drafted... That's a no for me.

Brandon Bass has been a very good contributor to the Celtics this year.

Would also say Lowry, Thad Young, and Paul George should be included.

Aldridge isn't under the radar is he? I've thought highly of him for a while.

Kyle Korver and Millsap would be on my
    List.

Korver is a machine shooting the ball.

Injured but what about Al Horford as an under the radar player. He's a double-double for his 4yrs in the league.

    Budinger for Houston
Ekpe Udoh -- look at his +/- this year and last. His defense makes a big difference for the Warriors.

And Vince Carter is quietly having a great year. Hitting 46% on threes (6th in the NBA), posting up smaller twos, finding the open man, and playing solid D within the team concept.

glad someone mentioned luol deng because he is the first that comes to mind when seeing a thread like this, he gets hardly any recognition because of rose/noah/boozer but he practically anchors that team...

    others:
andre iguodala (not quite a superstar, but does a lot for his team esp. since changing his role)
    marc gasol
danny granger is pretty unheralded as well, but he can ball
    marcus thornton

Most the players I think of, have already been mentioned. Here's a few that I haven't seen:

    -Reggie Williams
    -Spencer Hawes
    -Al Harrington*
    -Andre Miller*
    -Norris Cole
    -James Harden*
    -Louis Williams
    -Isaiah Thomas
    -Amir Johnson
    -Ed Davis

If they've made an All-Star team in the past 5 yrs, they aren't under the radar!

Dirk- Yes. Under the radar doesn't have to mean completely unknown? Dirk has always been one of the lower key stars and usually overlooked. Besides his Finals MVP and 1 MVP season you don't hear about him a lot and hasn't got much attention this year.

Tony- Always been referred to as the 2nd or even 3rd fiddle but this year is playing outstanding and is definitely the Spurs best player.

Wright- Made this one because I'm a bit of a homer, but when this guy gets minutes for the Mavs he's legit. He doesn't play much with the log jam at the 4 position but averages 6 points in only 11 Mpg. Also a good rebounder and great energy player.
