Last time I did a write up on Philly, I predicted correctly. They killed the spread against Cleveland a bit ago and that's what they are going to do again today at 7:00 tonight. Philadelphia is only behind three other teams (Chicago, Miami, and OKC) for the best record at a record of 19-9. That's not to bad at all compared to some other teams who on the other end are having the worst seasons imaginable. Even Vegas can't handle setting lines for one team, that team is the Charlotte Bobcats who cash in at 3-24. That's 16 less wins and 15 more losses then Philadelphia for those of you who can't do the math. Charlotte is having an atrocious year. They have lost 14 straight games in a row, and are 1-9 in there last 10 home games. This should be an easy win for the 76ers and the last time they met up they won 89-72 on Jan. 27 which was a 17 point victory. Charlotte is on one day rest and Philadelphia is also on one day of rest. Of course the Bobcats did not cover in their previous game (Losing by 25) and the 76ers did (playing the Cavaliers, doubling the spread). Philly can easily win this with a healthy team compared to the Bobcats who are suffering two major injuries from players and will be missing this game. Keep betting against Charlotte while you can!
Why will Philly cover?
- Charlotte is Win-less since Jan. 14
- They also have been outscored by an average of 24.9 points in their last six games averaging 77.3 points and 37.2 percent shooting as well.
- 76ers are 13-2 (87%) ATS against teams under .500 and 5-1 (83%) as road favorites
- Charlotte is a whopping 0-15 (0%) against teams over .500 and 2-8 (20%) as home underdogs
