    I'm a Piston fan

    Yes, the Wizards are awful.

Yes, the Pistons have been playing better.

With that being said, you're betting on them as a 6 or even a 6.5 point favorite? Come on. They shouldn't be -6.5 vs. anyone.

I've got a better point... Why is anyone betting on a Pistons/Wizards game?

Not sure it is desperation if you see value in a game. If it's a 1 or 2 point spread that's a whole different story.

Detroit has been playing better lately and the Wizards are a mess of a team.

Yes, this is a shit game but I like the Pistons as the better team.

Why has Dumars done anything he's done since the Darko draft? It's been one disaster after another. Look at the coaches they've had after Larry Brown.

Because I'll bet wherever there's +EV. Maybe this is just a hobby to some, but I'm here to make money. Would I rather make make money watching Kobe or Lebron play? No doubt. But I'll take what I can get, and this looks like free money to me.

On another note, this is the first Pistons home game I think I've watched this year. Is The Palace always that freakin' empty when they play? I know they're nothing to be proud of, but damn, that's just embarrassing.

That's the other thing that Dumars has done -- sucked the life out of The Palace. Used to be a tough place to play, and was packed almost every night.

This is a glorified D-League franchise now.

There is no easy way to get good in the NBA, you either need to be really good in the NBA or really bad, it doesn't help to be in the middle.

Well, Dumars has managed to do both as a GM. He pushed all the right buttons at the start, then after the Darko draft, he's basically done nothing right since.

Is your hometeam arena bumping when Washington comes to town? I don't think so.

Atleast my team(raptors) have fans. WE have no chance and they sell out games still

Yeah hard being a Pistons fan. I think Dumars ego grew a ton during the"goin to work" era. Then Davidson passed and it all went to hell. Ill never understand the move of trading Chauncey to free up cap space for free agents when the big free agents your eyeing are a grossly undersized shooting guard that plays zero defense and a head case 1 hit wonder(if even that) soft PF. Then he will never give up on Stuckey and resigns him. The only thing good about the Pistons is Blaha and Kelser

Agree (especially Kelser -- most underrated announcer in sports. Period.)

Pistons kept the "core" together for way too long. Should've traded Rasheed when he had value, Rip when he had value, etc. Between the personnel fumbles and the coaching disasters, it's time for Dumars to go. Hate to say that, because he was hands-down my favorite Piston during the Bad Boy era.

Well other than the Pistons one championship team, you need a superstar to win in the NBA, and that is much easier said than done.

Coiner imagine if they drafted Dwade instead of Darko and he played with Billups, Sheed, Wallace, Prince and the others.

Pistons could have won up to 3 titles once LA faded.

Detroit's toast. They've completely given up. On the other hand, seems like Atlanta has too if they don't pick it up in the second half.
