Well it's almost tip off and it seems like the majority of the board is on Golden State yet I've only seen one post in this thread that gave any type of reason.

I didn't bet on this game but I will be rooting for my team to win. GL.

    Still waiting!

Golden State played their best game of the year, were at home, and still didn't cover.

Come on guys. Jump on the winning side. There is plenty of room on the bandwagon.

Are there anymore bad teams you guys are backing tonight because you think it's sharp?

Always backing shit teams because of weird lines is just as square as taking the obvious play.

    Think about it.

Agreed. And last night you made another OKC backers thread when their were already about 3 or 4 floating around. Bragging and boasting about your plays is a no-no. Either way BOL with your plays tonight.

Because when the majority of this board is on an ugly dog, they never seem to cover.

I'm not sure what you're problem is. I never wished you or anyone bad luck. I'm a homer because I fade my team against the Clippers and like them to win cover against a bad Golden State team? I made an entire thread about how I thought OKC would lose by double digits to LA, which they did, and you think I'm a homer?

Just because I don't blindly play shit teams like Golden State because of some weird number Vegas through out there, it doesn't make me a homer.

All of you guys were jumping on Golden State and I just wanted a good reason. It was really no surprise that no one had a reason. The only reason people took them was because they thought they were being sharp by jumping on the home team given the low line.

Ellis had close to 50. Lee had a triple double. Golden State played the best game they will play all year. Golden State was rested. The Thunder were in the midst of playing 5 games in 6 days, etc. Everything went Golden State's way and they still couldn't cover at home.

Considering all of this, I don't understand how people continue to think they were the right side.

To say EVERYTHING went GS's way is far from the truth on that game. Refs were definitely all over OKC. Even OKC backers last night admitted to the refs being on OKC. I do agree that despite David Lee and Monta having career nights, they still couldn't cover against OKC. However, don't act like OKC was such a sure thing. They covered by a half point. And like I said before, plenty of people got the line at GS +3 or bought a half point.

Congrats on your OKC bet last night.

I'm just trying to point out that Golden State was an extremely risky play that got way too much love from people on here last night.

The point of this thread was to show people how silly they can be by going large on a bad team just because of a number Vegas throws out there.

I agree that these games are usually tough ones to win if you're backing the favorite but if you just blindly take the underdog everytime, you're going to lose your fare share.

Some people are ridiculous on here. I get called a homer for thinking OKC will cover against a sub .500 team with a bad coach and propensity to blow games in the 4th quarter? Really?

I'm a homer yet I made this thread that pretty much predicted exactly what would happen in the Thunder's loss to the Clippers

    http://www.sportsbookreview.com/forum/nba-basket...r-tonight.html

So basically I make one thread saying my team will lose and one thread saying my team will beat Golden State and I'm a homer? OK.

Your definitely not a homer. I remember you betting against OKC a few times. Good luck the rest of the way. People are just going to call you a homer anytime you take OKC because of your avy. Just be aware of that.

It's probably because I seemed obnoxious because my team was winning and I was happy. Meanwhile and other people were losing money betting against them so they were pissed off.

I don't wish anyone bad luck except for that one douche bag that trolls everyone's threads.

Also, I didn't even play OKC for the game because I wasn't that confident in it. I made a very small wager for the second half after I saw what happened in the first half because it was apparent OKC came to play. I totally saw it feasible that a let down might have occurred that's why I waited.

With that said, I wasn't confident in Golden State either. Basically I wasn't confident in either side before the game but at halftime I liked the way OKC was playing.

Thanks for your kind words and good luck tonight.
