    this smells of a trap game. Anything over -3.5 will be real fishy. I'm going to keep a close eye on any line movement in this game.

    Actually GS is pretty good. They just had that 4th Quarter collapse against Memphis. I don't really expect that collapse to happen again. Remember when Dallas had their collapse game against Portland last season and when on an impressive run afterward. Of course the public is starting to jump on Portland which is exactly what the books want. LOL!

    actually this is a proof that the book is relies on actuarial stat, & not from some basketball genius who we think their job is to track the game. From a number key adv stat GSW is edge out Portland from FG% to rebound/offensive, across 6 categories at least.

    So Golden State was +8.5 at home to miami yet they're -3.5 at home to the Blazers after a 4th qtr meltdown of epic proportions and losing 2 in a row at home (and losers of 3 in a row including a loss to the Nets) ?

    If Orlando can go into GS as favorites on a b2b right after playing Portland the night before, then certainly Portland themselves can open as favorites on a b2b going into GS after a win in Portland.
