Anyone Trusting The Warriors Tomorrow at -3.5?

Just curious to see if anyone is going to be on GS -3.5 tomorrow after they just burned so many people with that loss to Memphis.

I actually think this could be a good spot for GS tomorrow seeing that POR will be on the last leg of their b2b2b. And I'd have to trust that Marc Jackson will have his team ready after that embarrassing loss. Especially if Portland is going to win tonight against Memphis, could be a bit of a letdown spot for them after two big wins at home.

    I don't know if I'd trust a team who gagged a 20 pt lead.

problem with portland is they're a jumpshooting team on the road a majority of the time. Tonight, as we saw when at home, they keep attacking the rim and going to the hole - that's why they're such a good 2nd half team at home as they're relentless in this regard by continuing to attack the hole and crashing the boards with an extra man (fantastic rebounding team "WHEN" they do this)

they kept going to the rim, thats why they extended the lead instead of what GS did the other night against this same memphis team.

however, if they play in GS like they did in DET, SA and in Phx being a jumpshooting team 90% of the time, and deciding to play a perimeter game not even attempting to crash the boards, they will surely lose vs the jumpshooting Warriors

Portland gets too fukking lazy on the road too often for my liking. It's so silly when you have guys like Aldridge and Wallace (who are terrific inside players) taking 19 foot jumpers 85% of the time on these road games. I may skip the game vs golden state and play Portland at home vs Phx 2 nights later

They're gonna want to kill em

Gerald Wallace is already wincing in pain with his bad finger on his shooting hand, and had to hit the bench tonight because of it. Do you really think he's going to want to willingly go inside inviting contact vs GS ?? and on the road without the tremendous support from his home crowd ? I don't. He's going to want to keep it safe playing at a distance with space settling for outside jumpers.

I can see it now, GS plays really well early in games at home and will get a 8-point lead early, and the blazers will try to jumpshoot their way back.

the blazers are a totally different team when they become a strictly jumpshooting team. They are a very mediocre team when they play that way and get totally away from their identity. When they're "on" and playing their identified brand of basketball, they are as good as any team in the league. But after coming off two impressive home wins in a row, on a 3rd night in a row game, and on the road -- this spot is as good as any for seeing them get away from their true team identity

Dangerous game to gamble on imo

After being burned badly by the Warriors last night, I think I'm going to make a small play on GS. I don't see how Marc Jackson wouldn't have them ready for this game. If they don't look sharp tomorrow, I'm seriously going to question Marc Jackson as an NBA head coach. I still don't get how you go from an NBA announcer to an NBA head coach....

I just really don't know much about Marc Jackson as a coach. I'd trust any respectable coach to have his team ready after blowing a 20pt lead in the 2nd half, not to mention Portland is playing their 3rd game in as many days. But can we trust the Warriors and Marc Jackson.

Would love to hear some input from the people in the Bay Area who really follow this team.

Worse than the b2b2b for Portland, they have took a dump at GS the last few years. Wouldn't touch Blazers there.

Ah a Blazer fan like myself that has seen this team just get dominated for quite sometime at Golden State. Now you look at this team yes this team lost at Detroit. The road record not good and playing in its 3rd game in 3 nights against what i think should be a pissed off GS team. Be riding with the Warriors.

Oh man that must have been an interesting game to be at. Please tell me you didn't have money on them.

The more I look at this game, the more I'm liking GS. I think Portland is in a bad spot here, and GS is in a rather good spot to be in.

Portland hasn't won three games in three days since 1999. Not saying it can't happen, just making the point.

I see warriors winning by 6 or 7!
Portland 13 and 6 against the spread of the road this year. They've lost in Phoenix by 25 points and they also lost to Detroit on road. They had two home games against sac and memphis one road game at GS and home against PHO on friday. Its a third game in 3 nights. GS has beaten Bulls and Heat this year (flat spot for both strong teams after big game and before a home/big game). And Monte elis is having huge games (23pts/game). I will pick Warriors -3 if the line goes down! Line opened up at -3ev at pinny and 60% public is on Portland. Then also line is at -3.5

Bets look roughly split. The question u need to ask yourself is not why is GS not only favored here, but also by 3.5, which is key somewhat.....but who is fukkking putting money on GS here because those people haven't one reason. You can't say going opposite because the bets are not one sided. Good luck!

i had 110 bucks on em. and i have 110 bucks on em tonight at -3.5. 4th bet of season on a warriors game.

1-2 on my previous 3 with losses being the hilarious one against Indiana and yeah the Memphis debacle.

warriors have also played portland better than you'd expect over the past few seasons, especially at home obviously.

The one part this is a bit one sided is the ML, 70% are on Portland ML. The spread is about split. I'm going to put my faith in the Warriors here once again. GS -3
