Another Thread On I Need Advice Hedging

I rarely every do parlays, especially to the point where I am able to hedge.

I put $20 on a parlay of BOS +7, HOU +2, and GS -2.5 which would pay me out $120

If it means anything else, also put another $30 on GS ML and another $20 on GS -2.5.

If GS covers, it would pay me out a total of $170.

    Any advice would help. Thanks.

I've been in this position a couple times before, and every time I've gotten burned. I really like GS tonight, but I'd like to hedge it. I'm thinking of just covering up my losses if GS doesn't cover, so $40 on MEM.

$40 at most. anything more than that an you are undercutting all the risk/value in relation to the parlay

Way to steal my thunder man. I'm feeling good about my possible big $300 day, and your talking about 2k as if it is nothing. Well BOL, lets win this money. C'mon GS!

I'm in a similar situation with alot riding on GS and after capping this game for the last half hour I think I'm going to go ahead and hedge with Memphis to cover myself from losing anything. Late push suggests Memphis.

    BOL

me neither, but i figured people had to know the exact amounts if they were to help me with the hedge. I also don't talk about exact amounts because a lot of people on here are wagering 100-1k a game, and I'm playing plays of $20-$40.... Perhaps some day I'll be the guy who lays 1k each day.

dude, dont make the wager unless your comfortable with the play. If your thinking about hedging then either your play has too many variables or you shouldnt have made it in the first place. Thats my thought process when im thinking about betting against myself, hope it helps.
