    Are the celtics playing dead and okc -2 is a trap?

    looks way too good. okc rested will only be their 2nd game in 5 nights. celtics look super old and slow, got a bunch of calls vs the bulls and still lost. okc wont look past the celts either no one does. too easy

    i have a hard time jumping on a team that already has 80% of the public on them.

    Both OKC, PHILI, and POR have 80% of the public on their side. My guess is at least 2 of those 3 teams don't cover.

    it just smells of a trap. but they are so old and slow and pierce is hobbled. they would need 20 from allen and garnett. plus bass sucks, jermaine oneal sucks. ugh national tv game i bet the celtics do win it

    Man, can't see betting against the Thunder. Perkins is back in Boston. No Celts front line with no Baby, Green and Perkins. Celtics are actually shooting a good FG % in some of these losses but getting killed on the boards especially offensive rebs. If Ray isn't hitting 60% from 3, they get clamped down much worse. I'd take -2 if you can find it.

    they cant even run anymore and get ray 3's in transition. they are so slow and depend on rondo when the shot clock creeps down. i think they are done and might lose by 15 tonight

    Put the Celtics line-up in NJ Nets uniforms and the line would be totally different. Vegas likes to give respect to teams due to past performance, not current.

    exactly i bet my last game on the celtics when they got beatdown by the bulls. refs tried to keep celtics in the game too and it still didnt work. im hoping celtics contine to beat the NJ's and washingtons so that we can fade them in these situations

    This is my feeling as well, but there have been many fishy lines in this young, strange NBA season.

    There seems to be a lot of value in this line because of the old sports maxim "they are due to win, especially at home." I seem to recall OKC in a similar spot recently, -4 @ Memphis. The difference there was that Memphis had recently lost to OKC, so they were even more due for a win, at home, in the revenge spot. End result? OKC 100-95 MEM.

    Sure, this REALLY looks like a trap game. The line is confusing, but can someone point out to me why this is a bad value play?

    I personally think Perkins comes back to Boston with a vengeance, maybe others think he'll play like crap due to "an emotional return." I also like that historically, OKC have played well in Boston. Once again though, different situation than tonight, not sure how applicable it is. I'm on OKC -2.5 for 2 units

    Although Lang is on OKC it is one of his Comp plays which actually are winning more often then his paid plays... but when Lang is backing a public road fav its usually a good idea to fade. Baylor +7 is his other play. I'm gonna fade both but my wager on Kansas -6.5 will be the larger of the two plays.

    most of us have already wasted money on the C's this year.... square picks don't lose 100% of the time and while I agree it looks "easy" its not free money. Ill be fading the C's on these short numbers till they turn shit around... KG not being 100% helps.

    First off, who is lang and where does he post? I've heard about this Lang fellow for the past year or so, but I've never seen him post his plays. And is he really that bad? Is he as bad as Sammy Sunshine aka HollywoodPhili?

    And what the heck does Vegas know that we don't about this game. Boston has looked awful this year and they match up horrible with the Thunder. I mean they obviously know something we don't if they set the line this low, and then don't move the line even with 80% on OKC.
