    This is the BEST year EVER for 1st quarter betting. Condensed schedule is the reason.

    The rested teams tomorrow that will be hosting (or playing) b2b teams are:

    Lakers
    Dallas
    Nets

    These are 3 automatic bets for me tomorrow for the 1st quarter playing against tired teams. and I do it all year long and write down the teams the night before.

    Checking my results since the season started, I'm winning with this trend about 75% of the time ( I haven't played EVERY single spot on this but i've played a lot of them). This is a winner, ESPECIALLY in this "CONDENSED" Season !! Remember that teams are pacing themselves this year more than ever, and it's simply human nature for a rested team to start a game well in the 1st and a tired team on a back-to-back (with the travel sometimes) to come out flat.

    ALL you have to do is see the evidence with Orlando the past 2 nights. Tonight on a b2b playing last night in portland, GS was totally kicking ORL's ass in the 1st quarter. However, Orlando was rested for 2 days before playing Portland last night.. meanwhile Portland played 2 nights ago against the clippers in a hard fought game that was on national TV and had to face a rested ORL last night ... Result = Orlando just destroyed Portland in the 1st Q last night.

    Does it work all the time ? Of course not, nothing does. I had Boston 1st quarter last night and they shit the bed against Dallas who was traveling on a b2b. But for every one of those you'll nab 2 or 3 winners.

    I'm going to bet more on this shit all year long, and THIS is the BEST season to do it with the condensed schedule and teams pacing themselves. These are GREAT Spot$. EASY MONEY !!

    I've consciously made these bets all year, and looking at the win/loss history at my books for these spots, the win percentage is quite high.

    thought I'd relay it to the board as I've heard some good people here mention how they stay away from 1Q or 1H betting. There's no need to stay away, especially in this condensed season giving you some really good opportunities to make $$

    You can also make a killing on props using these spots.

    Let's say that you totally believed Orlando was going to win this game tonight, but know that GS would likely win the 1st quarter going by the percentages..

    well you have a prop asking you if the winner of the 1st quarter will win the game. The price on this prop for this game was +160 if you selected no.

    +160 is a hell of a lot cheaper and a far better price than the Orlando ML price for this full game ;-)

    I disagree with the logic... as much as I do see lots of unders across the board... I see more fast paced first quarters turn into flailing half court pace games late... fatigue is already built into the line....

BTW, don't forget that he's not actually betting on any of these 1st quarter unless he decides to quote you after you lose saying that the Bucks 1st quarter was a 5unit winner for him but he was too busy to post it before the game tipped off. If you can't see how sharp he is, then you will never learn how to win like he does at sports betting.

    If he creates a thread and documents all the picks/juice/unit size then he will lose. Why on earth wouldn't he do that? It's because he's full of shit and he knows so. If you go back throughout the week on all of the threads he created he always comes in after a lean of his loses and claims he had a play on the game that won, but not the original lean. This is very typical of a sociopath's personality.

    What did this guy do to you? Did he take your girlfriend or something? He is allowed to come in various threads and claim a win without stating it previously. It's not like he is on here boasting about how he is up 50 units. He makes a lot of great picks before games, and most them end up hitting.

    I don't bet the same amount for every game. A smart capper always considers other factors in any bet they place. Hence, Phx played poorly at home last night, they will probably come out stronger tonight. The Nets have been poor in most of their 1st Q this year. Smaller bet on this one.

    The cavs meanwhile exuded a lot of energy last night, and I have more on the Lakers at home on my 1st Q bet.

    On the other game, the Bucks notoriously play the Mavs well. Moreover, the Bucks are 4th best in the league for 1st half point differential (and they are the 4th worst for 2nd H point differential). And Dallas is notorious for being a better 2nd half team than a 1st half team. Though I am still betting DAL, but just a smaller amount

    Last night, both GS and MEM covered the 1st Q EASILY (Mem had a commanding 28-19 lead on the b2b traveling knicks after the 1st Q) However, Charlotte didn't cover the 1st Q against a b2b ATL team. But I didn't bet that one. Who the fukk can trust the Bobcats on the road ?! Unless they're playing the pathetic knicks at madison square garden ;-)

    So you have to take everything into account. Like I stated in the opening post, I didn't bet every instance for this spot, but most of them I have. Use your better judgement. The bottom line is, it pans out more than it doesn't.

    I have Miami -1 in the first quarter. They are probably pissed off for that craptascular showing in LA and they are probably going to be pumped out and running in Denver. Im putting a few dimes on Miami just cause they are going to try to run Denver out of their building in the first half, because we all know Miami cannot cover the 3rd and 4th quarters.
