    Hornets -2

Why? Shouldn't they be at least -4 here?

Suns are awful. New Orleans looks rock solid so far.

    Something stinks.

Should hit. PHX is garbage now.

I agree, even without Eric Gordon I love NO at home by only 2 points. PHX has some major wholes, and their franchise is going no where. They need to trade Nash and build for the future.

Even with Gordon out they manhandled the Celts.

Thanks Pauul. Hadn't done any NBA research today so I didn't catch that. Thought the line looked weird, and was wondering what took so long for it to be posted.

    I think Phoenix wins here.

This made me too...I'm taking the bait here. They will not miss Gordon THAT much I don't think. Yes, he is a big scorer but they are at home against a team they already beat AWAY and they just beat the Celtics fwiw.

On the contraire... Gordon scored 20, shot 50% FG and hit the jumper with 4 seconds left who gave them the win.

It's one of my plas for sure. I'm documented a season long thread. Started yesterday, had been on a roll, but yesterday was a little bumpy but today should be a killer. Lot's of juicy games!

The Hornets have been playing far above expectations early, given that their training camp really wasn't underway until about 48 hours before their first preseason game because of Chris Paul. At the same time, they only beat the Suns by 1 point on a game winner by Gordon in the final seconds.

Philly steamrolled Pheonix in the first half and the Suns gave up early, pulling Gortat, Nash, and Frye early (18, 17, and 13 minutes respectively) so that 20 point loss is quite deceptive, IMO.

Two days off after an embarrassing early season loss and a change of scenery with a road trip makes for a pretty good spot for the Suns to come out strong and get their first win.

Also, how about that 4.5 point drop on the total with 91% on the Over...

    Interesting.

I'm avoiding totals altogether until I can get a better feel for these games (and can drop bowl games and NFL from my plate).

New Orleans rocks the early season. Come February this team will be a straight FADE... but until then, if the refs give New Orleans half the treatment they got VS Boston, it's an easy Hornets win.

Why would the Hornets only be -2 at home against the Suns.

Even with Gordon out, they should have been -4 minimum.

Bang on. However I didn't play either the Suns or the Under, so I have nothing to show for it
