    T'Pups +5.5 on Monday

Is this a play, or too early to tell? I really think Minnesota will be better this season -- their youngsters are a year wiser and they have a relatively legitimate coach now in Adelman. Oklahoma City obviously played tonight and is off to Minneapolis to face a team they've beaten nine straight times (some in bizarre fashion).

Does Minnesota's luck change on Monday?

I do too, but I'm just a little worried that backing Minnesota is premature until we see what kids like Rubio can actually do in a live game that counts. Looking forward to watching Love this year.

    Durantula absolutely murders Minnesota.

I thought I was a little crazy for liking it too.

Beastly was on top of his game during the preseason, Kevin Love is still a double double machine and you have two potential rookies of the year on the side in Williams and Rubio. Energised at home, they should keep this close at the very least.

They are very deep, I'm pretty sure their second squad can actually beat OKC's...

    Twolves really impress me.

Down the stretch they could easily blow this one though, last season against the Thunder didn't they blow a tied game in the last minute and fail to cover 9.5ish?

I can see them as an active dog and see an over here. I love the wolves, they are my 2k squad.

Up 101-95 with 6 and change left. Lost by 10. Line was 9.5.

I knew you would remember it

    This was brutal.

"Kevin Love gave the Timberwolves the lead again when he grabbed an offensive rebound and put it back in to make it 105-104 with 1:20 left, but Green drained a 3-pointer on the next possession to put Oklahoma City back on top for good."

They were up 1 with 1:20 to go and lost by 10

Is Love up to leading this team down the stretch? He did it the other day against the Bucks but this is a different monster

The Twolves are young and deep

They will have plenty of value playing later in the season and when they get sides at the end of tough stretches.

As for tomorrow? I dont know

i could def talk myself into playing the over.. minny gonna have to score to make this a gm which i think they will, whether they can ultimately stay close enough not sure but certainly gonna have to score and hopefully okc legs/motivation wont be there for any kind of intense defense..

Dude you're only taking this game cause of your lame +5.5 home dog theory. No one bets like that. The season is young and your seriously gonna believe anyone thinks that your dumb enough to think that Oklahoma City is gonna be tired after one game into the regular season?

    Man up brotha.

Wait a game or two to see how the T-Wolves even develop as a team if if there is any chemistry or value to them having 50,000 point guards on their roster.

Oh okay you are asking if it's worth betting.

I'd wait 2-3 games per team especially a team with a new head coach. See how things pan out initially. Plenty of time to make money in the NBA.

Laid off this and played Portland, lost by a point when they had a 15-pt lead with 3 mins or so left

Not sure. Bucks blew a DD lead on the road and lost both preseason games to the Wolves, yet they're -6?

I figured this line would be like -4 or -4.5. Have to see where the line goes from here. Seems like a Memphis/SA type line.

Not a home dog but SA did have strong incentive to make a statement against Memphis after they knocked them out last season.

I was pretty impressed with the Timberwolves, Williams, Rubio and Barea off the bench is a lot of offense for any team to handle.
