imgv WNBA ALL STAR PLAY ytd 15-10 +6.85 Units

    YTD: 15-10 +6.85 Units

    1* UNDER 90 1st Half -104

Girls need more time to get into rhythm.

Last year they scored 221 all together.
    1st half-95 2nd half- 126

As I said the dykes usually need a little more
time to get going. 90 is a huge # I think.

I personally have about 2.5 Units on this but
for record sakes I have only 1 unit.

    1* UNDER 90 1st Half -104

Well Lets hope this cashes and good luck to you.

    I really like this play

Any thoughts? Or just come in here to say hi

The first half definitely should be lower scoring and having the 7'2 girl will help, I think first quarter under is actually a little better cuz of her. I personally am only playing Over 45.5 4th quarter. Might play the West, but I wish I could get them -2 like I did last year.

Did you place the bet already IMG? Pinnacle now has the 1st half Under 90 at +103. Just a little heads up if you have not yet.

Thanks looker. I put half of what I was going to bet on it. Well
I guess I should put the other half on it now.

I don't mind this line movement as I expect public
to wager on Over 90 most not knowing QTR's are
    only 10 mins.

Im not sure if the starters matter or not for you, and other WNBA bettors. But it looks like a few starters were replaced in the starting lineups.

Here is a article on it.
    Article
The replacements: Smith, Snow, Dupree are All-Stars

    Associated Press

NEW YORK -- Tangela Smith, Michelle Snow and rookie Candice Dupree were selected Monday as replacements for injured players in the WNBA All-Star game.

Smith and Dupree replace injured starters Tamika Catchings of the Indiana Fever and Becky Hammon of the New York Liberty for the Eastern Conference for Wednesday night's game at Madison Square Garden. Snow is a replacement for Houston Comets teammate Tina Thompson on the West.

Catchings has Achilles' tendinitis in her left heel and Hammon is out with a sprained left ankle. Both suffered the injuries in games Sunday. The East, 0-6 in the midseason game, will be without a third starter as Connecticut Sun forward Nykesha Sales (Achilles tendon) withdrew from the game on Saturday and was replaced by teammate Taj McWilliams-Franklin.

Smith, a nine-year veteran making her first All-Star appearance, is averaging 12.6 points and 5.5 rebounds for the Charlotte Sting this season. Dupree, the sixth overall pick by expansion Chicago in this years WNBA draft, leads the Sky with averages of 13.4 points, 5.7 rebounds and 31.2 minutes. The former Temple star will be playing against her college coach and Comets guard Dawn Staley, selected as a starter for the West.

Snow, an All-Star for the second time, is averaging 11.6 points and 7.2 rebounds for Houston.

    2005 West 122, East 99
    [2004 USA 74, WNBA 58]
    2003 West 84, East 75
    2002 West 81, East 76
    2001 West 80, East 72
    2000 West 73, East 61
    1999 West 79, East 61

East is without three starters due to injuries and has never won, so they will probably come out strong. West knows this and has far more quality.

West -4.5 looks pretty sweet to me.

Agree with you Dark Horse...especially the part about the East coming out strong, home crowd and EST start may help East early as well....the West was a cut above anyway, and these new Eastern players are the definition of just-glad-to-be-there types...depth shows in the 2H so I think I'll hold off until then hoping the East hangs tough 1H...if West gets out early (meaning I have to lay more than an effective line of -4.5) oh well, no bet...I'm going to count the potential 2H bet on my thread record.

    Line on the move

If anybody wants the -4.5 line, better hurry.

Most places have -5, Pinny -5.5. This is the only game in town today, so many bored gamblers (new to WNBA) may jump on board.

i had a feeling that line would move up on this game tonight.

not questioning your pick at all IMG. although, isn't there more scoring in these all-star games opposed to the regular WNBA games?

i haven't been a big beaverball player this year, but usually defense is never part of any all-star games that i can recall.

Well Line is Under 91 -109

    I got

    0.5* Under 90 -104
    0.5* Under 90 +103

So if it loses I saved 8% juice. The only way I
get really pissed off is if the total is 90 or 91
then I will be very angry.

    Well good luck..

Also BBD other than last year this hasn't been
a free for all for pts.

    2005 West 122, East 99
    [2004 USA 74, WNBA 58]
    2003 West 84, East 75

    2001 West 80, East 72
    2000 West 73, East 61
    1999 West 79, East 61

Thanks again Dark Horse for this.

I really think this is a winner. After watching and paying
close attention to these games it seems like they always
    start off kind of slow.

Margo Dydek @ 7'2'' Maybe she can slow down the
    West LOL..

    Good Luck Razz!!!

    LOL

You needed a scoreless last minute, and you got it! Good going.

    Halftime:
    West 36% shooting, East 48%.

Normally this is a strong play on the West, but East is playing four CON starters, so they have the team thing going. Tough call.

Those players honored at the half were all from the West. Great motivation for the East.

That's cool. Nice pick - evidently we got lucky, but a win's a win, unless you have action points.
