Sat Dec 27 Crazy World of Curious...Quarters, HT losers 3Q play, et al...

I am consolidating all my crazy plays into one thread. We will be doing the Quarters and the HT losers on the 3Q/4Q plays, plus anything else that comes up.

I may not post all of these, The Boss has handyman type crap for me to do tomorrow.

Here are the rules. For the Quarters, take the picks below in the 1Q, stop for a win and for a loss martingale on Quarter bets until a win.

For the HT losers. Bet any team which is losing at the HT in the 3Q, if the 3Q loses then double the bet on the 4Q.

The Quarters plays are hitting at 100% winners, the HT losers play is 10-1 so far. If you have been following this you are up tons. If you aren't following it you are too cautious. You cannot win big if you do not bet big.

One tip I have to do really well on thiis: "Bet more on the winning teams".

    1Q plays:
Atlanta 1Q lost, double up on 2Q Win
Oklahoma City 1Q lost, double up on 2Q Win
    Charlotte Win
    Orlando Win
    San Antonio Win
    Toronto Win

Since internet gambling is illegal and law enforcement personnel frequent this site I cannot advise you on which book to use. I have heard though that there are many places that do live betting. Some of them may even advertise on SBR. Just look around.

This is looking good! Good enough for me to create a name to ask a question of you! lol. First in regards to the quarter system, does it really matter who you take, be it the favorite or the dog? Second, how many consecutive wins do you need to cover that very unlikely loss if starting with $100 on the first quarter and doubling every quarter from there? Third...In most cases, are the underdogs ML somewhere between -120 and -140? Thanks!

As I have said before, sports betting is illegal and recommending that another person do business with a sports book is illegal.

    Do some research.

Ok, since seeing this "system" yesterday I have run the number since December 14. Here are the results and this is just one way to do it.

Here is what these numbers represent:

Take the team that LOST the 1st HALF score and take them to win ONE quarter in the second half. Obviously you start with the third quarter!

    As stated above:
"For the HT losers. Bet any team which is losing at the HT in the 3Q, if the 3Q loses then double the bet on the 4Q.'

There are a lot of filters you can put on this system and many different ways to do it. This is just one way.

These numbers do not reflect todays scores although with a quick look this system won every time today.

The total record since Dec. 14 is 62-16, which, depending on the ML's you get for each quarter could be really good or not so good at all because of the progressive nature of this.

I believe all but five of those 16 losses came when going against teams that won the first half that are really good teams. Such as Boston, Houston, Cleveland, etc.

I do not have ML's on all of those games for the 3rd and 4th quarters and I would be interested in seeing the record ATS for each quarter.

It seems as though this system has a lot of potential...great potential...if it can be filtered a bit better. One filter I know that would help...and makes a lot of sense...is to NOT go against teams in the 3rd and 4th quarter like Boston, Cleveland, Orlando and other pretty good teams. That makes sense because those are the games where you could reasonably expect a really good team to win every quarter more often than an average team.

I will break this down to specific teams also.

It would be great if the numbers could be run on the 1st, 2nd, 3rd, and 4th quarter method. I am postive those numbers would be huge!

Now the real question is what book allows this type of betting. Also, because of my experience with progressive betting you have to really be able to emotionally lay some serious dough if you are getting to the third and fourth quarters!!!

I have a list of the teams by 1Q wins, I look at each matchup and take the team that has the most 1Q wins. Sometimes those are dogs, sometimes they are favs.

Second, how many consecutive wins do you need to cover that very unlikely loss if starting with $100 on the first quarter and doubling every quarter from there?
I don't understand this question. If you are afraid then don't use this strategy because you will be at the 4th quarter after having doubled up 3 times at least once or twice a night.

Third...In most cases, are the underdogs ML somewhere between -120 and -140? Thanks!
Underdogs by definition are + odds.

    2 HT losers 3Q play goes 7-0

there were a couple of ties, not sure what to do about them. Milwaukee lost the 3Q, so you would have had to double up in the 4Q.

    Change to the systems

For favs take the ML, for dogs take the points. The results are better in that you won't be in a position where you have to double up as much and you will cut down on the number of ties, since dogs won't tie.

Not having to double down as much reduces variance, and variance as we know is what knocks you out of the game.
