    FIBA Women's American Championship

Experimental NINJA Plays! I will confess to knowing nothing about the women's teams here. I'm a stat cruncher and researcher, so do what you will with the information of the Ninja!

    Brazil-Jamaica Over 143.5 [-115]
The handicap is huge here at 47.5 or so and Brazil may be good enough to cover that, but Jamaica did play well enough against Mexico in winning their opener 67-64 that I'm not certain the big line will be covered. Of course Brazil destroyed Paraguay by 83 and then wacked a solid Canada team by 17. Still, tempo seems a better thing to back here and Brazil from all accounts wants to play fast. If research is anything, Brazil could eclipse 100 again here or approach it. Experimental Ninja!

Look like a big fail here. Jamaica easily going to cover the large spread.

    Jamaica-Paraguay Under 123 [-115]
Paraguay is awful. They've scored 26 and 34 points in two games, admittedly against Brazil and Canada who are rated as contenders here. Still, Jamaica has shown some moxy with a win over Mexico and keeping Brazil close for a half. Unless Paraguay has learned to score in a day, I don't see this going over. Jamaica could score 80 and this may still finish under pretty easy.

Well the only thing i have learned so far ... take the points on the spread apparently. Mexico +45 against Brazil. Let's see how that pans out.

Well that worked brilliantly. Mexico covering the 45 pt. spread rather easily. So any massive spreads, maybe try the dogs. Chile is +27.5 tonight against Puerto Rico. Not sure that one is big enough or not, so passing and trying this:

    Puerto Rico-Chile Under 129

Argentina-Cubs seems hard to call, so think passing is better. Would lean Argies + points.

Under hits and Chile easily covers another large spread as a dog. Dogs are doing strong here as far as ATS.

    Argentina-Colombia Over 126 [-115]
Argies can wrap up top spot in their group with a win tonight. 13.5 point spread on this, don't see that as a big edge either way. Argentina could be ripe for a close game after their emotional comeback win over Cuba yesterday or they could destroy Colombia .. just don't know. They have been consistent offensively against tough teams, so they should be good for something in the upper 60s or better here. Colombia were okay scoring-wise except against defensive-minded Puerto Rico and will probably be eager to show well in front of the home crowd. Trying this one. Tips at 10:15pm ET.

Under I'd say tonight Brazil-Cuba @ 131.5, but nothing strong. Brazil could blow the doors off and also make it an over.
