If they stay healthy and keep the same drive they have a good shot. Now at least they know they can do it.

I think the Mavericks are going to turn out like the White Sox after their 2005 World Series Championship. They were completely dominant in the post-season (11-1), but ended up being one and out. No repeats, no three-peats, just one and out.

Dallas may in fact be better. But so will the heat, NO, and probably 3 or 4 other teams.

Can they really get any better than winning it all?

Amen. People in PDX loved Miller, but his lack of 3 pt shooting killed our offense. Millers Post and Mid-range games are elite though.

Felton is point just entering his prime. He was a near allstar last year, and even if he shoots 35% from 3pt land it would be huge.

As for Fernandez, IMO it wasnt really difficult to let him go. He hasnt played good in a very very very long time for the Blazers. Plus he was expendable since we have Roy and Matthews.

They will still be good but a team that is satisfied and a team with a bulls eye on them is not a plan for playoff success.
As hard as it was to climb to the top , they have to feel satisfied don't they?

I dont think dallas has enough for a repeat. I feel that they're satisfied with this year and wont have the hunger for next season.

Repeating take so much focus, I'm not sure they have it in them...

Jordan Hamilton went to the Nuggets with Andre Miller.

The only team I really root for are the Bulls. I also root against "stacked" teams such as the Lakers and Heat. I'm really glad the Mavs won over the Heat, but they will likely be a one and out.

I don't see Dirk winning another championship in his career. Maybe i'm wrong. The Thunder will beat them next season if the Lakers don't.

I like Miami, but it would so funny if the Heat ended up with zero championships with Lebron and Bosh.

no one beats father time. this is an old team. and a team can get old fast. 2x defending lakers were proof of that. and if okc just gets just a smidgeon better, the west is theirs.

He's becoming less effective every year in the playoffs. He was even worse than he was in the finals last year.
