    if you were confident that the bulls would win the first 2 games why wouldn't you take the +300 or so by betting chicago moneyline game 1 and then shoving on chicago ml game 2?


    i really think the hedging opportunities are if you are on the other side of this bet, especially if the heat win game 1. but again good luck all, interesting series. i think it all depends on if the heat shut down rose, which i think they will.

    yes the bulls won all 3 regular season games but it was by a COMBINED 8 points and we all know how disinterested miami played for much of the regular season.

    I feel like almost every justification people make for picking a side in this series starts with a "yeah, but..."

    Even if you like Miami to win the series, you're much better off betting the individual games in Gm 1 & 2 than laying -190 on the series price. If you like the Bulls, the +165 has value because they have homecourt, but you're also depending on the Bulls to win Game 1. I think strategically, the only bad move you can make here is to take the -190 because you're overpaying.

    I couldn't have said it any better myself. It's all about the value. Plus, if you are more of a totals player like myself, you give yourself a nice value bet on the side with easy hedging opportunities.

    This isn't the Spurs/Pistons era anymore. Superstars win championships. The elite defense that got the Bulls to the #1 spot just hasn't been there lately and without that they live and die by how well Derek Rose is shooting the ball that day. The Bulls need more offensive talent to win a title.

    I'm a diehard Celtics fan and I can say, this will be close but people who think the Heat are so dominant for beating the C's 4-1 should check the series out again. Celtics had no true big man, a point guard with a MESSED up arm, and each game at home they won easily, or 100% SHOULD have won. They gave away game 4. Miami is great at home, but on the road they are a different team.
    Bosh is a freaking joke. He admitted he was NERVOUS to play in Boston, and you think he can deal with the ECF and playing in Chicago?
    Miami has no point guard who can contain D rose, and if you put lebron or Dwade on him, i still think Rose will create a major issue. Joakim Noah can control the boards, and Boozer needs to play solid.
