    bulls were favored at the hawks last night. tonight memphis is favored. big difference from a gambling perspective. especially when you consider the fact these are two totally different teams. the hawks caved all season long, grizz are a different team after the trades.

    Look at the history of Game 6 elimination games where the favourite is up 3-2 and then reconsider your position. The home teams definitely do NOT try their hardest in these games...

    The overtime games affected Memphis a lot in their last game. Gasol and Zach are not premium athletes so they suffered. They should be rested and ready to go tonight. It will be a close game. I wouldn't bet on it.

    You wait for spots. Last game after the 3 OT game was perfect spot for under. Ask yourself, what spot is this for? Memphis has their back against the wall and at home. They lose and its over. But is that motivation? Lose and you go on a 4 month vacation with millions to blow. They know they cannot win it all. That is what happened with the Hawks last night. They knew that giving effort was pointless because they would just get blown out in Chicago in game 7. Will Memphis do the same thing? I doubt it but OKC is just very good.

    True. I have to assume that it's largely a motivation thing. These games are often preceeded by a dominant home performance in Game 5 so the fave is flying high and ready to go in for the kill while the dog has 2 days to think about the 10+ point loss.     I particularly like it today because not only is this game a closeout game for the Thunder, but it's also (potentially) their last game before facing the Mavs. The Thunder don't just need a win today, they need a game where everyone makes the right call on every play. Westbrook needs to drive to the rim and distribute when he can't get there. I expect the Grizz to close off the lane today so I really like this to hit.

    I also have Ibaka Over 10.5 points (+136) today. He hasn't really been much of a factor in the last two games, but the Thunder need him to be aggressive on the boards and hit the midrange jump shots for them to really excel. The books are taxing the Under heavily and I think he steps up today.

    Grizz just gave up in the middle of the game on the previous game.. I wouldn't put too much into that last game. This is where a lot of the people think that the Grizz are done and OKC is easy money. Everything will come down to westbrook. Personally I think westbrook will bury his own team tonight with bad shots and memphis wins this one.
