Roag, you will have write-ups, previews, or just the pick with 2-3 words?

If you're in the states, then The Greek, 5Dimes and BookMaker.

I use very specific systems, a write-up really wouldn't be worth it because I would be disclosing my systems within them. I'm focused on the money only, if people want write-ups they can get them from CK, he's a good writer. Thanks.

That thread was a lot of fun. Keep in mind that CK is more of a situational capper which lends itself to being able to provide long write-ups on games from a situational standpoint. I will look at situations as they apply to my systems but they are not my main criteria for handicapping a game.

Keep in mind that the approach to WNBA handicapping has changed since that season. The linesmakers have become much more savvy and the league has had an influx of some great new players. It's harder to cap than it was back then but there is still good money to be made.

He used to do writeups for his free 1H plays on his site, but I don't think he's doing that any longer. You gotta pay to play.

You can use BookMaker in the UK, but you should be using Pinnacle too. What are you using for soccer? Get on Pinny, Bet365, Betfair, etc. - damn you have a lot of much better options that we don't have here.

Just a few days! I will be going big here Roag. Didn't really follow your other thread because i make so many bets that it was hard to incorporate and analyze your soccer plays. But I still made about $700 on the plays I did tail.

But you got to love these micro market sports, My starting bankroll for this WNBA will be about 10 dimes. Will this pay for another vacation? Maybe you and Sonja could come along!? I'm almost sure we are of the same age.

Also, are you going to be running your total yourself or will you be farming it out.

LOL you and Sonja are definitely within 30 years of one another!

10 dimes? Damn you're already at my goal! You're going to move lines everytime you place a bet with that kind of money.

I'll be keeping track of the project balance myself for now. If someone is interested in becoming the official record-keeper I'll be happy to relinquish that responsiblity.

And by the way, you're correct, that would be Mr. York posting above, prominently featured in the Bloomberg article. Hopefully we'll all have a very profitable season!

Pinnacle is good for everything, I would use them over BookMaker for WNBA. I sure wish I had a Pinny or Bet365 account for soccer.

Interesting article. I agree, but if Minnesota can get it together quickly they have a shot. Not sure anyone in the East can compete with either team at this point.

Pinnacle opens up at L.A. Sparks -5.5 and a total of 163. We may have a play on the first game of the season.

This survey runs every May for the past 6 years. Every time 50-90% of the GMs pick winner of the previous season to repeat. Every time about 8% of the GMs who pick the underdog get it right. WNBA GMs are total squares.

Hey Roag, good to see you are back. I made a little $$$ tailing on the WNBA last year. And I even capped a few games successfully.

Looking forward to another good year.

Good to see you my old friend! I think it's going to take some time for the Lynx to get their new act together. The line opened up at -5.5, that's really high and the books knew that everyone would be pounding Minnesota. But Maya Moore didn't have a great preseason and not many rookies make an immediate impact. With Candace Parker back I'm actually leaning the Sparks right now. Not sure yet we're going to have a play, there are a couple of games over the weekend that I really like better.

hey roag, do you recommend betphoenix?
I can deposit on Vietbet which is the shell of 5dimes, but only 35% freeplay bonus, whereas betphoenix give out 50% with both require 5 times roll over.
I used to use betphoenix few years back, and the 2h lines was awfully slow, don't know they has been improve since.

I capped this game at LAS -3.5 and 162. Seems to me the Under would have been great at this number and will probably still hit at the current 158.5. I like the Sparks here too.

What's up SK, long time bro.
if you cap this game at Spark -3.5, and Lynx get 4, why like Spark? Because whole town are on Lynx?
From my opinion, when season beginning in any sports......SHARPS GET STABBED.
Most of linewatcher bettors in this forum hardly doing well in early season in any sport, just my observation.
Best of luck to you this season SK
