    I think the Mavs end it today, if they don't the Lakers WILL win game 5 and then it's a 3-2 series and anything is possible.

    I can't go against my Lakers... if we win today, and win in L.A. Game 6 is a whole different series and Dallas has the pressure on them... but one game at a time I'm hoping Pau can get it together

    Does this team have pride? The Orlando Magic were down 3-0 last year and won at Boston in Game 4, then at home in Game 5.

    Let's not forget that this team was up 16 in Game 1 and also outplayed Dallas for 95% of Game 3. I probably won't bet it but just trying to get a feel for what everyone thinks.

    Mavs are smoking Lakers off the bench. That's the difference. Lakers just don't have the firepower in the second unit. They have their starters and Odom, that's it. Kobe is not producing like we're accustomed to seeing, but you can't take anything away from this Mavs team either, they are just playing better as a whole and Dirk is destroying the Lakers.

    The Mavs are going to do everything they can to put this series away today. If they do, they're buying themselves extra days to rest and prepare for the Grizz/Thunder, and given the choice of deciding between a team that's playing their best ball of the year and one that's not even on the same page, I'll take the Mavs.

    Mavs are 9-0 ATS in the palyoffs and have covered 12 straight going back to the regular season. So, yes, you can say that the Mavs are playing their best ball of the season. You need a REALLY good reason to bet against them at this point, and I'm not hearing any such reason from Laker backers.

    Taking the Lakers is taking a struggling team to hope they somehow stay alive.

    I'd rather take the better team who will play the hardest game out of the series to sweep the Lakers who they've had beef with all season.

    I'm thinking LA today and then DAL in GM6...there's not much data supporting this situation except the home team is 1-2 in these situation because typically the favored seed isn't on the verge of getting swept.

    If the Lakers get swept .. alot of people's idea of NBA being scripted will fall out the window because the Mavs sweeping the Lakers is a cinderella story that a very small crowd cares about. Laker will lose G5 or G6 .. but they roll this game.
