Allen Iverson or Jason Kidd? In their prime
Kidd was more of a team player (multi-talented). He's one of the best passers in NBA history but his accuracy (shooting) was awful.
AI gave his heart and soul and took a beating. He wasn't a team player and that won't help in winning a championship.
Iverson's offensive game is far superior. I would have to take AI. Kidd had no confidence regarding his shooting. Kidd's been hitting 3 pointers lately but overall he's an offensive nightmare

If I have a talented team already it is Kidd. No Brainer. If I have all scrubs and no hope at a championship, then AI it is.
Kidd...better player, plus you'll be protected if a bunch of girls try to fukk with you. Jason was good at beating up chicks.
The only AI I would want would be from his 2nd and maybe 3rd season. (also if all I wanted to do was put ppl in the seats)
But if I wanted to build a team to win a championship I would take Kidd

Agree with JJ here. If AI utilized his talents to better the team he would or maybe could have been the better player. Making those around is truly what defines a player and I think Kidd wins that argument.

AI is in my top 3 favorite players of all time, but Id rather have Kidd in his prime on my team.
Seaborn nailed it. If you are fielding a CBA team and want to sell tickets and gear, take AI. For as good of a PG Kidd was, can't forget how he cried all those years about no help or wanting a trade. AI said F it...I'm just gonna go out and get 50 and sportscenter.
This really depends on the team, Kidd needs a half decent finisher and Iverson needs the other guard to be able to defend big SG's

AI in his prime was great as a scorer. but the league has and always will have great scorers. jason kidd is a rare player that can affect the game without ever taking a shot. he makes his team better, he plays defense, he is a leader.
taking AI means that u just want some1 whos scores a lotta points. he doesnt play any defense, (dont be fooled by his steals per game), he is not a leader, he never made his teammates better.
i would rather have t-mac in his prime over iverson.

I saw Kidd on a regular basis when he was with the Suns. I've seen him recently too and he isn't any better.
AI could take over a team by himself.
Pretty close. I actually think it depends on the group of players surrounding them at the time. With a bunch of defensive minded/terrible shooting players like the 76ers had back in the day, AI would be the obvious choice. But on team that is built around moving the ball around/playing as a team, Kidd is much better. I think he is a little better on defense as well.
Nash and Kidd on the same team at Phoenix back in the late 90"s....what would have been...
If you would have put jason kidd on some of those teams that iverson was on the the team probally wouldnt have won 30 games. A I no question....

Close one but I actually think the fact that Kidd still can play at his age and AI got run out of the league means something. AI depended on things like speed but Kidd was better.
AI was a cancer and would never win a title, didn't matter who was on the team.
Give me Kidd and I'd take my chances.

put AI on the nets and they dont have the same type of success as kidd
