    Help ratings? The NBA never has that good of ratings in the first round of the playoffs. Also, by saying this, you're insinuating a "rigged game theory" which is horseshit in it's own right.

    What's not to understand about the Lakers?

    Kobe is getting old. Fisher is old. Artest is old. Gasol isn't playing well. Bynum isn't a dominant big man.

    Hornets need to sellout as many games as possible for financial reasons so the team won't lose money. This is why Stern told the Lakers to let Hornets have 3 home games.

    NBA owns the Hornets since they are in bankruptcy. It's in the best interest of the league to have Hornets play 3 home games to make money and pay the bills.
