    dude, there is no juice on a push. A push is the same as if the bet never took place. money is returned period. If you're paying juice on a push then you don't know much about gambling and your bookie knows it.

    thats why i use bodog more often than i use my local now.
    he has been taking juice on pushes for quite some time. 10%.

    if you can direct me to another reputable and local in Toronto, I'm all ears.
    I know what a push is, but he been taking juice on losses and push. so if i bet $50 and push,I owe him $5.
    its been like that since as long as i can remember.....maybe time to find a new local...

    when i questioned him about that, he said bookie always wins....
    so i left it at that.

    does he allow you to buy the hook? If I was dealing with a crook like that I would buy the .5 point and move on to the win or loss category rather than risk owing the dude vig for a damn push...

    not as often anymore....

    he pays on time, never makes excuses, and i've never had any issues with him. I got pretty accustomed to the 10% on push's so I never thought anything about it.
    Figured for a local who has been in the "game" for over 20 years, he's as good as they come. I guess I have been wrong.
