I realize this is the NBA thread but I also know many big bettors are here. So if you guys don't already know, three of the largest poker websites have been seized by the FBI. Obviously I, like many others, hope this does not affect sportsbooks. But it can't hurt to proceed cautiously in whatever plans we have for the playoffs and mlb season underway.

that accept U.S. players have been seized by the FBI and shut down in the U.S., several sources are reporting.
As of this morning, Friday, April 15, PokerStars.com, FullTiltPoker.com, UB.com and Absolute Poker (both part of the CEREUS network) are now off-limits to visitors from the United States.
The Department of Justice, working through the FBI, was behind the seizure. Those U.S. visitors attempting to reach these sites now, instead, are treated to a message from the FBI explaining the situation:
IF you still have money in their accounts, it is wise to pull it all out. They made another website to ward away from the FBI.

pokerstars.net is not a gambling website, they said it on their commercial which is always straightforward and completely true
The domain names seized is not the problem at all....however, the FBI has seized over 75 bank accounts WORLDWIDE dealing with online gambling. Although its rare that player balances will be gone to 0 - its gonna be a b**** to get payments processed if billions of dollars of money is being charged to these sites and banks put on hold.
Request ur payouts from these sites ASAP and pray that it goes through
This will never happen because everybody, anybody betting in the U.S. haven't broken any laws. The only people they could legally go after they just did. It's all about protecting the brick-and-mortar casinos in the US. They are turning up the heat now, just like the strip club scene. But like that, law enforcement will soon be busy with other matters. Gaming will continue. Although, they might make it harder to get your money out.
It's a waste of resources trying to prosecute all the small time gamblers. With the courts and jails already clogged and filled to the limit, it would cost more than it is worth.
