    Tuesday's Leans

Went 5-2 yesterday (link to that thread: http://www.sportsbookreview.com/forum/nba-basket...ays-leans.html).

    Tomorrow's Leans:

Lakers -6.5 - The Lakers seem to be taking this time off but I think that the 2 seed is important to them. I also think that the Spurs will try to rest, as they are locked in the 1 seed. Although 6.5 is a lot of points. I might buy 1.5 points and take it at -4.

Portland -5.5 - I think Portland is a highly underrated team and will put up a good fight against whoever they end up playing in the playoffs. That being said this is an important game in terms of seeding for the West, if Portland wins the maintain the 6th spot. I think Portland shows up and continues to build momentum going into the post season.

Waiting for the Knicks/Bulls line to come out. Any advice or input is highly appreciated.

    Like the Bulls tomorrow

They are still fighting for best record and overall home court advantage while the Knicks are all but locked into their playoff spot

STAT is likely to return for the Knicks but I wonder if Melo might get reduced minutes

If knicks lose both of their games on purpose and philly wins detroit, knicks would have the same record and same series as philly.

What does the NBA do to grade the seeding when this happens? I'm still trying to learn here.

For the tie breaker they will look at the win loss record between the teams in question and whoever have more wins over the other team wins.

You mean like win loss not just for this year but for their last 10 heads up games or so?

Good information and I thanked you.

i dont know the number off hands but say knicks and indiana were tied. If during the regular season kicks won 2 and indiana won 1 it would be knicks 2-1 and knicks would get the better seed.

Oh, it is called a series if it is within a year.

But if knicks and philly were tied, they are 2 and 2 for the year which still makes it a tie.

I dunno. I guess I'll just have to wait until that day happens to learn it as it happens.

I think ti works like this:

If teams are tied after 82 games, then you look first at head to head record. If the teams tied on their season match ups, then you look at who had the better record in their conference. I think that is right. If it isn't conference record, then it may be the divisional record. One of those two, but I think it's the conference record.

Thank you...I think you are right. First record then second then third.

Are you talking about the bulls line?

Perhaps they are waiting for more info for players stats to see who's playing and who's not. Bookies learned quickly after the Wizards incident last night. LOL

2-1 today. 7-3 the past two days. The Knicks had the worst third quarter I have ever seen and were 13 points from covering and although the Lakers covered they looked horrible tonight. Sacremento/Lakers game tomorrow will be a really interesting game. Any thoughts?
