Great night tonight. I felt like I was never going to have a good night when I had multiple unit bets. Finally I had a night like this. As well as I did though, still not happy with how I capped the Warriors game. I lost that play specifically because I missed the final closing line. Closing line ended at 197 and I lost it at 195.5 to a final score of 196. Lol this doesn't happen often but when it does, it just reminds you how important it is to beat the closing line and have +ev plays. Oh well, we learn from our losses and we move on. Keep on grinding it out. Aiming for +30 by the end of this upcoming week. Good luck everyone.

LA Lakers -2 1x
This is a pure LTA play lol. Chicago and Indiana are tied for 2nd in def eff. They're in the bottom half of the league in off eff (19th, 29th). Both are in the bottom half of the league in pace (20th and 26th). I originally thought that Chicago would try to push the tempo a little bit without derrick rose. That's exactly what they did last year. From what I remember, they averaged more points without Rose than with. However, Thibs has stuck to his defensive mentality so I don't see how this game gets out of the 170s. If this was later in the year, this game would be set at 177 easily but the books know that things have been running a little on the high side of late. If this gets hit higher, I'll add to this play.
Lakers -2
I always like to back to the Lakers after coming off an embarrassing loss especially this season. The Lakers play much better against poor defensive teams and high paced teams. Although Houston traditionally gives the Lakers problems, this is a completely new line up for Houston. Houston has no bruisers in the paint so Gasol should fare fine. Even though the Lakers are struggling with the pick n roll like always, I don't see them having trouble against Lin. They will however get torched by Harden but it won't be enough. I don't trust the Houston bigs enough to believe that the Lakers can't trap Harden off the pick n roll and force him to pass out to shooters and rotate the defense. This is an interesting game for sure but I think this game is no different than the Lakers v Denver and the Lakers v Dallas. They have trouble against teams that play great team ball and team defense (Indiana and Orlando).Comment -

Oh well, action bet put me at even today. I still would make that bet if given the chance. The Heat missed a lot of three pointers that would've completely changed that game in the final 4-5 minutes. Sometimes it just doesn't work out. As for the Lakers, I made the wrong play. Not to say I should've played Houston, I think it should've been a no play with so many question marks about the Lakers. Not to mention I was heavily leaning Memphis under and almost locked it in last night but talked myself out of it. Glad I did because I would've been pissed tonight about the OT. Almost happened in Chicago actually. Anyway, any night I avoid big losses, I can live with. Looking for a positive day tomorrow with a big card. Good luck all.

Chicago/Cleveland over 184 1x
I think Chicago relaxes their defense today coming off the defensive struggle vs Indiana yesterday. Usually teams come off a defensive struggle and end up playing more open the next game. Also the b2b should keep them from having the legs to play tough d on the road. Cleveland is also one of the worst defensive efficiency teams. The only thing I am worried about in this game is Cleveland's inability to score but I do think Chicago should come close to 100 in this game which gives us a good chance to go over the low total of 184.Comment -

Early end to the night which is AWESOME. Lol, I will take ANY night where I am up and done before the last game so I don't have to sweat anything out. Charlotte is playing really well right now but it may be like Dex said, NY is looking ahead.
My prediction for the Chi/Cle game came true... except it happened only in the second half. Cleveland could not score and Chicago was playing great defense. Then they lost their legs in the second half and things opened up. We still came close even with an 80 point first half. No problem, that's why it was a 1 unit play and you can't win them all.
Great day though. I think I made the right plays other than impulsively taking the Chi/Cle play at the peak of its total. But still, I knew SA/Milw would move to 200 by morning and I was right. Not only that but it closed at 202.5Comment
