I rarely play parlays, however I just don't see how any of these guys lose. Bisping is nowhere near Rockhold's level & has been massively inflated with his win over the spider. Cruz is the definition of unbeatable, no weaknesses, and the only dude to beat mighty mouse in the last 5 years (who many including Rogan consider the best P4P fighter in the world). Lamas is a guy who only loses to the best fighters in his division, but I would certainly put rising star Holloway in that class. Kid is as exciting as they come. Holloway is the weak link of the parlay, if he wins then it's pretty much a wrap. I can see Holloway using his crisp striking to easily outpoint Lamas over 3 rounds, without ever putting himself in danger of Lamas' underrated striking & G n' P.

Honestly, I'm down on confidence with Bulldogs and I usually don't bet on games involving them. In saying that, they normally perform well against better team, they turn up. We tend to lose against average/worse teams.

1* Bisping v Rockhold Over 1.5 ($2.05 William Hill)

Bisping has never lost in the 1st round. His quickest loss was against Rockhold in their last fight, however I think Bisping has improved enough in both skills & confidence to survive 1 round and a half. Also & most importantly, this is a 5 round fight, so the pace will be slower & usually a good part of the 1st round is a feeling out period, especially when high IQ fighters clash (as both are).

Dogs are such a hard team to read... so inconsistent, they do my head in.

They could finish top 4 or miss the 8... who knows.

Ok back on track after a pretty average day with the easy Holloway decision win. Was the last 20 seconds of that fight one of the greatest moments in UFC history?? Never seen that before. Pretty good weekend if not for the UFC yesterday...

I'm such a chump. Was so caught up in the UFC that I forgot to post my favourite play of the week which was Sharks ML at $1.90 for a large play. Was going to play large for 2-3x. They are the better team, they can compete with the dogs forward pack (dogs biggest strength) and they are en fuego! (9 straight). Luckily I also like the under which is holding steady at 36.5 despite the poor weather over the w/e, and I like the Sharks enough to lay the -3.5 for a small play...

Here's my weekend summary.

MMA - The Bisping KO of Rockhold turned what would have been a profitable day into a horrible card for me.

NRL - Would have been a decent weekend (small profit) except I was too slow in grabbing the Sharks ML ($1.90) which was going to be a large play, and instead went with Sharks -3.5 (they win by 2).

AFL - Some good news. Crushed AFL this weekend (and also moved to outright 1st in a lucrative footy tipping comp I'm in on ESPN footy tips so stoked about that)!
