I disagree with the lookahead assessment. We're talking about one of the oldest and most professional rosters in the NBA. They take all games seriously because it's in the final 10 games of the season and at this point, every win matters.
Also, I fail to see how their record with Dirk in the lineup is all that relevant when the Lakers beat the Mavs in Dallas on March 12th with Dirk in the lineup. He scored 25 but that didn't prevent the Lakers from winning by 5. In their previous game on Jan 19, Dirk shot poorly while the Mavs won the game. I'm not disrespecting the Mavs here, but I think rest will be a factor tomorrow and signs of fatigue have been visible in the Mavs last two games against the Suns & Clippers. They won those games through superior talent and depth over inferior teams. The Lakers will challenge them for the entire game.
