Unreal stones to bet 5 bills on a 10 teamer. I'm scared when I bet $500 on one game

Sounds more like an advertisement for SBR and Bookmaker. I'm certainly not saying this all fake and just a ploy to ramp up parlay plays (which despite this story remain a bad bet), however, it certainly sounded more like an ad than an interview.

Congrats to the winner if you're really out there

1 person in a million makes a 10 team parlay and you still don't think it's for suckers?

People don't even know the context behind this win. What if this guy was in the hole big and $500 on a 10 teamer was nothing to him? He could have lost thousands on plays like this and hitting 1 might not even be enough for him to go even.

I'm sure both parties are hoping for more 10 teamers after this.

Regardless of some guy winning a 10-Teamer, parlays are for suckers. Unless they're correlated.

luckbox FTW. He could also buy a lottery ticket and win. Doing uncorrelated parlays is retarded. The fact the bookmaker gave him quite some press attention. Should say it all. Bookies want you to do these parlays.

I am mad because my name did not get nominated. LOL

"In terms of whom I tail, I used to follow (SBRforum poster) Lakerboy. But he is not posting much this year. I do check out some of the leans by (SBRforum poster) No Coin."

What I don't get is this. You have a college loan to pay but yet, is rich enough to play a $500 parlay card. This blows my mind away.

When you have a college loan to pay back, you are still in the poor category and poor folks don't take a lottery at $500 a ticket. Possible but the odds are stacking.

My very first 10 cards parlay happens when I was just 10 years old. A local bookie runs an illegal operation at a video store and my older brother be having these parlay cards. I got curious and also wanted to be cool with them older boys so I placed a wager at $1 for 10 teams parlay in NFL. The guy behind the counter took my bet. I won but when I showed up on Monday to collect, the guy told me to bring my parents because only they can collect it since I'm underage. If my parents would know about it, I'll get punish for it so I let it go and take a loss on that one. The only thing I remembered at the time was odds for 3 teamer was set at 7 to 1 odds. This card had a consolation prize for hitting 9 with payout at something like 20 or 30 to 1. Thinking back, I should of just let my brother go cash that ticket. I'm sure he'll take most of the winnings but hey, at least I cash. 10 years old kid I was, dumb as a rock. This happens in New Orleans, LA. I'm in California right now.

I have no doubt he hit it because I've hit a 9 teamer before, but...if you bet $500 parlays often that 139K will be gone before you know it. And that's coming from a Roag Bettor.

Also do notice something here with his lottery. He said he is confident on his bets.

CBB -Texas vs. San Antonio / Total u72 -110
    NBA -Washington vs. Toronto / Total o104 ½ -110
    CBB - St. Peter's vs. Purdue / Total u65 -110
    NBA - Portland / ML -255
    CBB - Morehead vs. Richmond / Total u65 ½ -110
    NHL - NY Islanders / +1½-270
    CBB - North Carolina / -3-115
    NBA - Phoenix / ML -110
    CBB - Texas / -6 -110
    NBA - Indiana / ML -160

I uses his same style and won 2x last month on a 9 card and 8 cards parlay. With mine, 2 were push but still a good payout.

It was ncaab and I took all fav that has a -1 or -2 spread. I got 2 lucky days were all to most fav hits. No upset games whatsoever so I won.

If you do this style for the long run, you will get a winner somehow. There will be days where there is no upset games at all. That is the day to cash. You don't even have to know sports to play this logic here. Let Vegas to pick the fav for you and bet on fav for them parlay cards and try to hit that one hit wonder day.

    Just sharing the good news.

Every 6 months or so a story like this pops up. It is usually a hoax and basically it is a pub stunt by some sportsbook to publicize itself

    You might have a point.

SBR members are notorious about sharing their winnings with the rest of us. It is the gloating part that makes people do their public pickings before the game so others can tail. The person in this story chose to stay on the down low which I find ironic to the model of this forum.

I only do it because I'm with stupid.
