But the four previous winners did start inside of the top ten but that doesn't count I guess.

No matter what I say I am wrong and you are right even though history says otherwise.

i know who won, and when, and why... i do my homework or i wouldnt have results i do...17th isnt starting up front last 2 races and won

lots have been won from teens here and further back

thats not starting up front is all i said, u said its a "must" and its not( imo)

u felt the need to comment on my post and im just giving my side..

we just both look at it in different ways, not much else to say

I am not arguing with you I am stating a fact since the results speak for themselves, over half the winners at Michigan have come from the front two rows and two thirds of winners have come from the first ten starters.

Most times when they do come from far back it's because they gambled on fuel mileage like Martin did in 09 when he started 32nd which is the farthest back a winner has come from.

    its not an argument...

i know u like to disagree with me, but its just a differnce of opinion

Double file restarts started with the August 09 race, the winners came from 1-7-8-10-17-17

Argue all you want but 4 of 6 started from the first five rows since they started double file restarts at Michigan.

5 of last 8 have been won from 10 on back, and 7 of last 11....last 3 havent been won inside top 10 starting position either...including last 2 winners that started 17th

double file restarts have made a big differnce since 09...only 1 winner from the front row the last 12 races

qualifying not near as important since then, so old stats from top rows dont really mean anything in todays nascar

not even close to a "must"...but of course its better, but definatley not a must

Starting up front is a must here, 66 of 86 races have been won from a top 10 starting position, 46 from the first two rows.

The winners in Montreal since they began running there are: '07 Harvick, Fellows, Edwards, Said, and '11 Ambrose. Definitely a road course that strongly favors specialist. I would love to post another 4-0 in Nationwide h2h picks again this week.

Ha, where's your sense of adventure? Would make a great sporting story if he snuck in, and then did a Smoke and dominated! He has it in him to suddenly do that. ;-)

Plus, I've accidentally backed him for the Championship when trying to make race bets a couple of times.

hopefully some get better raceday and ill bet them at better prices...really pleased with these early odds though, some of these will never be this high again
Got Kenseth +1000 and Kyle +700... thought I'd hold off on JJ

Took him too at +1500. Good chance he will have the fastest car out there again. Think those are great odds for the RA winner/team combo!
