Alright guys we are headed to TEXAS MOTOR SPEEDWAY for NASCAR's annual All-Star weekend, where all 3 series will be in action. Obv the first time we have used Texas for the ASR, but should be much better track for it than Charlotte tracks imo..Also keep in mind the Cup race will be Sunday night for some reason. We also will have a Saturday afternoon and evening double header for the lower series races. The Truck series will be racing at 1pm on FS1 which is followed the Xfinity race around 4PM also on FS1. The All Star race will kick off on Sunday Evening at 6pm with the Open race at 6pm followed by the main race which will start around 7:30pm both will also be on FS1.

Kinda different weekend approach usually to the ASR and all the rules ect that come with it...Ill get a list of this years rules and race layout ill have Optional post it for us..For anybody that isn't aware already, the lower series races are just normal events..Hopefully we can have a bounce back week after the first losing race weeks in months, but between this race and a brand new track coming up after this, isn't gonna be easy that's for sure...Everybody's picks and angles always welcome..GOOD LUCK this weekend!!!!!

The rules are crazy for this even for the ASR. I'll go ahead and post them in here today.

They are also running a tapered spacer like the super speedways so the aero is the same, but diff engine package than usual for 1.5 tracks

2021 ALL-STAR RACE RULES & FORMAT

* Race will be 100 total laps divided into 6 rounds
* Rounds 1-4 will be 15 laps each, Round #5 will be 30 laps, and the 6th and final round will be a 10-lap shootout
*ONLY green flag laps count towards the race lap total
*There is a mandatory 4 tire pit stop during Round #5



Here we have the between rounds bullshit:


*Round #1 starting lineup made via a draw
*Round #2 the field will be inverted with a random draw, starting anywhere between 8th-12th
*Round #3 the entire field will be inverted
*Round #4 the field will be inverted with a random draw, again anywhere from 8th-12th
*Round #5 starting lineup will be based of the drivers total avg finishes between all 4 rounds
*Round #6 starting position will be the same as it finishes with in stage #5


**The will be running the usual 1.5 mile aero package, but they will be using a diff engine with tapered spacers to keep them close

Looking at some early props but just looking over long shots ATM. How about Reddick Top 5 finish (+1200). Short field and crazy format I like the odds. Odds are longer than usual, because He has to advance to main event from the Open race, but I fully expect him to be 1 of the cars that advance.
